I keep going over posts and ebooks and they keep mentioning the "hook point" that occurs between the PUA and the target that leads from openers to further conversation, but to not proceed until you are sure you;ve reached the hook point. They say if you haven't hit it, to keep doing openers until you have. Question: How do you know when you have hit the Hook Point and what are the signs? Are the signs just regular IOIs? - Memento |

the hook point is when the group goes from wondering when you are going to leave to... wow we want you to stay. Look for IOI's and just look for the group to be generaly interested in you and what you are saying. |

I use the same method every time. In the middle of a sentence, I pause for a second and look around at every person in the set. If they're all quiet and looking at you, they're captivated. If they're "rubber necking" and looking around for more important/interesting people to talk to, you're not there yet. Once you get good, you will hook VERY quickly after opening (like 20-30 seconds). |

I have posted this before, but in case you didn't read it, here it goes Telling the set, or better yet your target "I can't talk to you no more, sorry" And pretend to walk away, as in false take away If she replies with "Why not" or "no, stay" you know you've reached it |

Yes exactly both. You are the center of attention and the all the sudden you say "fuck it, you wouldn't care" If they ignore you then there isn't much you can do, make a scene, become the center of attention, be noticed. If someone says "yeah I don't care", you've got to neg her to put her in her place. I she says "tell me, tell me, tell me." you put a big grin on your face and say "do you really want to know?" (she needs to chase more) and then you're in. |
