Sooo. I think my txt-game jst sucks big time. I'll be posting the txts back and forth with 3 girls I got the #'s in a club down. All aged 18. Ill post the txt timing too so you guys have a better idea. 1: Cute girl, danced with not much comfort actually, but seemed pretty enthusiast/social. 1st Convo: - Me (next day): Hey doc nice meeting u the other day - Ali - Her (1 hr): Nice meeting you too : ) - Me (1 hr): Oh man yest was a good nite, cool crowd nd cool music. Too bad I couldnt stay til the end. - Her (1 hr 30min): Ya I know. We should go to an event soon. - Me (1 hr): Hey ur inviting me to one of ur university parties remember : ) (Talked about in the club) - Her (1 hr 30 min): Haha ya : ) but Im coming to all of ur university parties too. 2nd Convo: - Me (cpl of days later): Hey doc Ive been busy as hell. How was ur weekend - Her (cpl of days): Hey sorry I didnt have my phone for the past two days, and just got ur msg. How have u been? - Me (cpl of hrs): Lol no worries. Im horrible at txting myself. Ive been tryin to work on this project ever since but have ended up going out or playin soccer everyday. - Her (15 mins): What soccer team r u on? Or just for fun? - Me (10 mins): I play intramurals but the season is over so we played with some varsity players. Thos guys ran A LOT. - Her (1 min): Haha nice. Im playing intermurals starting in january - Me (3 mins): Soccer? - Her (1 min): Yup - Me (9 mins): Nice we should play sometimes. I promise not to make a fool of u while playing : P. - Her (3 mins): Haha I'm not the good. My friends made me join it. So u will make a fool of me : P - Me (8 mins): Haha Ill trx to be nice. Anyway I really have to go now but we'll keep in touch : ), 3rd Convo: Me (Some days later): I am luring girls to my house with candy... Do u prefer skittles or m&ms? Her (1 hour): M&ms Me (30 mins): Yo one of my best buddies here is having his bday party on Friday. U can bring ur girls 2 if u want. Her (2 mins): I have an exam on monday and havent begun studying : ( so I gotta stay in this weekend. I would have came tho if it wasnt for this. Me (7 mins): Aww. Ok no underage drinkin 4 u : P. Have fun with the studying I guess. Her (2 mins): Thanks : ) 2: Cute girl, a little chubby. Danced with heavy make out / neck kiss. She told me she couldnt do it cuz she was a virgin (not like asked her to have sex or something). Anyway: 1st Convo: - Me (next afternoon): Hey x nice meeting u the other day - Ali - Her (next morning): Heey, sorry it took a bit to reply my phone died the yesterday, but it was nice meeting you too : ). - Me (afternoon): Ye it was a sick party. Good crowd, good music. Too bad I didnt stay til the end. - Her (2 mins): You should have.. I left at 2:30 - Me (10 mins): Haha nice. I had to take care of my drunken friends in the meanwhile. Though we gotta do it again sometime. - Her (3 mins): Awe, its all good and for sure do you go to them a lot? - Me (10 mins): Not really into clubbing, we usually have our own parties. U? - Her (10 mins): Same, they took me out for my cousins bday, but (my univ.) wasnt to badd.. I go everyonce in a while - Me (17 mins): Wasnt too bad. Where do u live hence the area code - Her (3 mins): Oh aha I live in x place(1 hr away), but Im in ur city a lot with my sister. - Me (6 mins): Oh I c does she live here or smthing? - Her (3 mins): Yeah she goes to ur univ. and jst curious whats ur background? I ve never met a *my name* before lol : P - Me (7 mins): Lol try to guess. I think Im the only one in whole facebook with that name. - Her(5 mins): Kroation? or however its spelt? lol - Me(17 mins): Im from x country. But close enough. Both east europe. I gtg play soccer now but keep in touch : ) - Her(1 min): Ohh aha sweet, and alrightt have fun ttyl : ) 2nd Convo - Me (Some days l8r): Yo what up - Her (30 mins): Heey, just finished baking some gingerbread cookiess : ), youu? - Me (15 mins): Nice keep sm 4 me. Im in my fre class.. very hungry : P - Her (2 mins): Haha nicee, and will do : P - Me (4 mins): Do u cook any specialities? I love pizza - Her (6 mins): I bake more but yeah I can cook : P - Me (7 mins): Hmm good good. When r u coming down to my city - Her (2 mins): Probably sometime in december - Me (20 mins): Come with sm homemade pizza - Her (20 mins): Haha if you play your cards right : P (I hated this message, complete turn off) - Me (15 mins): Hmm too bad I dont like playin cards : P - Her(15 mins): Being difficult i see.. : P - Me (40 mins): If u say so. Im looking for insights in the txt game though. 1st Convo - Me (2 days later): Hey crown girl(club reference) nice meeting u the other day - Ali - Her (1 min): Hey, um boy with the red scarf, haha, nice meeting you too : ) - Me (10 mins): That was a Bandana! A red scarf would be kinda gay - Her (2 mins): Um same thign? Haha sorry! And the thing on my head was a glowstick, but you can call it a crown if you want. - Me (4 mins): Lol. That was a sick nite. Good crowd, good music. Too bad I didnt stay til the end. - Her (1 min): It was really good! I stayed till almost 3, lots of fun though a lot of people let by then. - Me (10 mins): Haha nice. I had to take care of my drunken friends in the meanwhile. Though we gotta do it a gain sometime - Her (4 mins): Haha I take care of my drunken friends all the time! Cant wait till next semester. I forgot do u live in res or home - Her (1 min): I live at res, my home's too far away. What about u? - Me (5 mins): I sleep at home. Its a long story what u up 2 2nite? - Her (3 mins): Haha ok i wont ask. I wish i had plans tonight, i cant believe im at home. What about u, up to anythin excitin? - Me (10 mins): Im supposed to be studying but Im watching football on campus. U wanna grab a beer l8r on - Her (30 mins): Hey sorry a friend jst called and i guess im going to watch a movie? Oh by the way i dont drink so maybe we could go for coffee instead sometime - Me (30 mins): Sure . And when I say a beer u can get coke too : P. PPS: Maybe its jst in my head that Im bad at txting, now that I was re-reading the txt convo's they seemed ok, like the girls were interested, the only problem is they rarely re-start convo |

it seems you are great at the opening at bar and party, so they enter texting with you positive and full of good energies. i personally think you did great. - you have a life, not 24 hour texting! great! (gtg soccer) - you are good with witty replies that reflect on yourself. like you dont like "play your cards right" and you replied "i dont play cards (;" -you are good with emoticons, you use the appropriate ones. with emoticons, if you cant prooject right bodylangauge in real life, then smileys might be hard for you to decide, be natura - use your brain (this is not for you, you are great, just a side note for new texters). -you have good energies and vibe, good humor, not too serious, direct - hey lets get coffee! -the only thing i would recommend is full word usage, or less abbreviation. never use 2 for "to, too", never use 4 "for". ttyl, btw, hbu, lol is fine though! |
