I used to be a confident individual, lots of friends, im never worried about not able to get a girl or anything, because i really am happy with my life. I may be the AFC of this forum(I sign up to merely learn from the pros and take a look at stuff) but lately i've become SOOO down... There're many incidents that just made me the way i am now..... basically i've messed up with a few chicks that I've just met, i have lot of pressure with school which is making me do nothing but sit at home, and im honestly getting nowhere with the girl im going for all these times, infact, she's always just circling around with me and im just sick of it. I really want to start a new social circle, meet mass amount of new people, and most of all, erase my mind from this girl that's just causing me feel so shitty everytime i think about her. I seriously need to build myself some value and work on my inner game... But I figure to start somewhere, I should really meet a new group of people, I figure its the only way. What do you guys think? |

That will probably help, it did for me. I didnt ditch my old friends but i moved to another city and started a new circle of friends there and it just keeps expanding and expanding at the moment. |

I was in the worse situation possibble. I was the guy no one wanted to be seen with basically the nerd of the school. I then changed my dress sense and started to take a genuine interest in people. People loved me after that and now i keep a lot of their secrets. You have to take a genuine interest in people, make them think they are the best thing in the world. After s while they will start advertising you and how great you are. I will suggest that you start saying hello to random people you see in your school. |

yah, but how do you generally transfer yourself to a new group? High school was not a problem, but university got harder, because in order to keep relationships or see somebody, you actually have to make an effort! but I don't want to just be all friendly to everyone, maybe its my pride talking, but i tell myself"why are you making yourself so availiable to everyone? they may think you have no friends but them!" |

Activities.but I don't want to just be all friendly to everyone, maybe its my pride talking, but i tell myself"why are you making yourself so availiable to everyone? they may think you have no friends but them!" I went on a ski-trip with my college and i signed up as snowboard teacher cus I like teaching people how to board, and i met a great group of friends there that wanted me to come to their afterparties and we had a lot of fun and after the ski trip we went out a lot and now we're a tight group of friends. |

Happiness is something you are , not something you get. Go out and selflessly give. Be as happy and confident as you can be and people will come to you. Seriously dude, there are loads of self help stuff out there, this forum needs to remain positive, you know this |

I was in the same place you were in, I was the main attraction at parties and then it started to dimmer down once finals started to come up and me worrying about grades. Then I just had a positive moment and looked and the mirror and looked at how my life was progressing and slowly declining and decided that I needed to be myself and have fun again. Someone told me that whatever I do, either it be sports, girls, school or work that I needed to come with a force and always keep my head up and never looked down. And that is my motivation. |
