Post subject:  WHERE to go on dates

I think this is a sticking point of mine.

I live in Ottawa... it's pretty okay. There's a decent downtown, clubs bars big malls etc etc.

I usually game younger girls (18-20) since I'm 21 so if they fall under 18 we can't always go drinking, and I don't even really like going to a bar as a date. So what are some good ideas. Please don't give me coffee because that one sucks. Seriously this is something I'm clueless on. It's getting cold out now, almost winter, so no picnics ! I know sleding will be one soon.

Cheap is always best. Not cause your a cheap guy, but because it is the amount of "FUN" that you put into it that will make it a great date. Plus why invest money in her if you dont know yet if shes worth your time?

Here are some ideas:

-Chucky Cheese (seriously, anything to transport a woman to her childhood is money!)

-Hikes

-Do something that displays a part of who you are ( I play guitar, so I always do dates with open mic's)

-space observatorium (looking at stars, its dark, in a room, bring a blanket... all this equals "stinky pinky" and connection)

I am sure there are TONS more. However, I live in Hawaii, so beaches and hiking are always a good thing. Canada.. I'm not sure... you have ducks/geese right? Go feed the ducks! Take pictures of you guys feeding ducks.... ITS FREE BRO!

Anything that is UNIQUE and gives you a little bit of nervousness cause it may seem quirky or dorky... is MONEY! She will never forget you, and you get a chance to practice your humor and show her that you are fun NO MATTER where you are. That is what it is about.

"Put your hand on a hot stove and it seems like an eternity. Spend time with a beautiful woman and it seems like 2 seconds... thats relativity" -Albert Einstien

Go out and do something adventurous. The other night I took a girl to explore an abandoned building and it was a good (but kinda creepy/scary) time and it ended well. Go get in trouble together or go to a cheap or free place where you can dance and chill and drink or whatever. Anywhere is fun if you make it playful and fun. Frame it to be a good time and it will be.

Depends on what type of girl she is. If she has any sort of personality take her somewhere lame that is fun and just smile when you get there ( make it a sort of adventure tell her you have a suprise for her ). Works best if t will provoke a laugh from her.

I recently took a girl to a pumpkin farm (you know...hayrides, haunted house, pig races, petting zoos, etc.).

It was gold. She loved it and kept complimenting me on such a great idea. It gives you stuff to do so you don't have to be constantly talking. And since so much is going on around you, it'll naturally incite conversation anyways. It'll spark a playful spirit in her that should get her to loosen up. And finally, they're quite cheap (like 10 bucks a person for a whole day).

I live in Chicago though, where there are tons of these about an hour out of the city. I don't know if these would exist in Ottawa or if it's already too cold now.
