Hey, Right, this girl is really annoying me. Last week I got her number and started texting her, she would text me back within minutes! (IOI). Everything was going text book over the text, I was making her laugh however, I was re-initiating the text convo the next day. Anyway we sorted out a meet on Wednesday night, and whilst in the club she grabbed my arm and held my hand, however I was hammered, my mates bought me sambuca after sambuca = ( I think I started spouting crap and didnt pull the trigger! Anyway I haven't text her since Wednesday and she hasn't text me (I am pretty sure that means she aint interested) Whats peoples thoughts? Playing hard to get? Stop floggin a dead horse or send a message like "Hey Stranger, Forgot your name....what is it again?"? Peace NO.FX |

Whenever this type of thing happens to me I figure it's because I failed to escalate. If she's putting out kino and you're not escalating, a girl will decide you're not interested in her and stop making an effort. You've got nothing to lose at this point so you could try texting more but after having met it seems like going backwards to me. I'd try to call her and meet up again, this time do something where you'll be sober. If she goes for it you've still got a shot, if not move on. |

I agree. Just start texting her as normal again. However, I wouldn't arrange a meeting directly. Try and build some comfort/attraction in the texts so she becomes interested again. Then arrange a meeting. |

Quote: I have a question on this topic as I'm in a similar situation.
You cannot ask her out without the attraction. Whatever you do, do NOT ask her to go out with you unless you "feel the love", as you call it. This chick and I have been texting for a while but i'm not 'feelin the love.' Now the solution is probably to forget her, but would you guys ever just send an afc text asking her out for coffee or something? My reasoning is that if i'm gonna just forget about her i might as well have one last go at the risk of fuckin it up, cuz im not gna get anywhere by not texting at all rite? What do u think? If it comes to the point where you are basically ready to give her up completely, and there is no other chance to attract her - you could try and ask her out. If she says no (which she most probably WILL), then just leave her and move on. If she says yes, then lucky you. But until then, try and create some more attraction /interest. |

Try this.. U-"Hey I just saw a commercial and It got me thinking of you." Her- "what was it?" U- "The Adams Family.. =P" Her- "hahaha what??!" "Ya, I saw the bald guy and I just thought of you." And there ya go. The connection is rebuilt. Don't ask her her name straight out like that, if you insist just ask her how you spell it because ur "friend" thinks she knows her. |
