For the record I am a High School PUA. So over the summer I Facebook chatted this girl, "Girl 1" is what we'll call her. So I casually talk to her but she apparently becomes very interested in me. I don't like her that much (she's hot but honestly she doesn't attract me), so I don't flirt with her much, I keep my distance and I hope that her crush fades. Well now its September 12th-ish. Girl 1 still likes me and texts me and so on (I occasionally respond and I never initiate). But Girl 1 introduces me to "Girl 2". Girl 2 is one of her good friends. I'm much more attracted to Girl 2. Both of them now like me, they have their girl drama about that and then later that day I get a text message from Girl 1 spilling her feelings for me through a text message. Well, I was in class when I got the text and I honestly didn't know how to respond so I say to myself that I'll respond later. Uncharacteristically of myself I actually forget to respond to this text message. Whatever not a big deal right guys? Well to Girl 1 and one of her friends (I actually had a thing with her too) proceed to hate me. What should I do about this? Is a slip of the mind worth all this trouble? But that's not the real problem. The thing is that I think that I like Girl 2. If I decide that I want to date her then how long should I wait so that Girl 1 isn't crushed? And also, is it acceptable to hook up with girls in the meantime that I'm waiting to get with Girl 2? Help is definitely appreciated |

Are you serious? She threw a tantrum because you didn't respond? That alone would probably make me lose interest in her anyway. Yes, you're allowed to nail other chicks while waiting for someone else. Be honest, if you don't want to be with her, just tell her. |

Cool. I ended up hooking up last night anyhow. Yeah...she like seriously likes me so that in itself is a turn off. Stupid attraction dynamics. In a just world I guess I should like her back. But thats why we're PUAs. To learn the realities of seductioin |
