Hey guys. I got this HB with whom I've been building comfort for quite a while online and over the phone. We hit it off quite good since we share a lot of things in common, so I had this ongoing thing where we're supposed to be soulmates, married and divorced several times. It' might've been pushed a bit too far but i dunno for sure. We've never met IRL coz she lives far away. Anyways she's in town these days and we're supposed to go out for lunch tomorrow. Just now I got a text from her askin for a raincheck coz she's "in a depressing mood now" and that she "wouldn't want to be all depressing on me" tomorrow. I'm thinkin to show her that I AM the cure to her depression, that I'm fun and exciting and that's all the more reason she should see me. Would that come off as a bit desperate? What do u guys reckon I should do n say? |

This seems to me like a bit desperate, because why would you be the cure to her depressions? Instead, tell her that depressions come from isolation from great moments, and that you want to share great moments with her. If she refuses then fair enough, but who would say no to someone that offers a great time? - Exerio |

I kinda have to not competely agree with u Marc... it is an excellent way a PUA would handle that shit test but sometimes it comes down to either she is flaking or just depressed. It makes her incharge if she jumps throught that hoop. Because she knows he is pushing it and desperate to see her! Honestly , Cipan if she wants to see u then she will...the more u push it the more desperate u look. You should demonstrate to her that u have a life other than hangin wit her..if she gave u the same crap even after using Marc's advice , Just show some DHV and tell her ur gonna go meet another "friend" bcoz u understand that she needs her "time" alone! Shows tat ur not just gonna jump through her hoops! P.S: yeh i ve been in ur situation when I was dating this hb 8, whose really insecure about her self! |
