An ex of mine used to stop writing back mid way through a text conversation - and then maybe a few days later would say she ran out of credit or something. Bullshit. She did it to make me think about her. She was full of stupid shit like that.

Do you get offended when something similar happens? (eg she just does not respond to a direct question in a text, and later does not apologise or anything).

I normally pretend I have forgotten or I don't give a shit, but whenever I ask a question (especially mid way through a text convo), and the girl completely ignores it (for days), it irritates me.

Edit: I really shouldn't give a shit. It just seems like a puerile test though.

I agree, this is very annoying.

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about her not responding,

However, there are things you can do about your mental state.
Be pre-occupied. You must always having something to grab and occupy your attention while dealing with women. This way you are not left to stagnate in the event of a flake, whether you're at the bar and she wants to go see a friend or you're texting or what have you.
If done correctly, you'll even forget about the text convo, and it won't bother you.

Be active, read books, watch movies, talk to as many friends as you can, constant movement prevents stagnation.

I really love what backdoor man said.

I'm usually always texting other people when I'm texting a target, along with watching TV, or playing some video games, or out and about. So I don't have to sit there waiting for her to text. A lot of the times when she does send a text I'll have to wait because I'm off doing something else. I often find that the best text convos with a target happen when I'm already preoccupied
