Post subject:  When my brain catches up to me. My game fails.

I've had this problem where I can be having a great set, and sometime either during the set, after the number, or whenever my brain catches up to me and is like "wtf is going on?!" and I typically stumble up on my game, revert to AFC, fall into the friend trap. It happens at random arse times too, sometimes during kino, sometimes when its time to take it to the next level.

I think its part in due to my lack of physical contact i.e. sex, making out.

Example: Last week I went into my grocery store and saw that this girl I had been working on was working. I'd already gotten her number, talked a little...but for the most part I ignored her (I was out of town at the time and didn't want to fall into the friend trap by talking to her everyday)

So I walk past her and she says hi, I look at her, smile, and keep walking to go talk to a couple of guys I know for 5-10 minutes. After I get done talking to them I walk back over to her as if I just now saw her and we talk for a few minutes, and my brain preceded my mouth.

Me: What time do you get off?
Girl: 6:00
Me: Dang, that sucks, my bead time is at 5!
Girl: What?! Are you serious?
Me: (seriously) Yea, I have to get up at 10 in the morning.
Girl: ....Wait, what? (Laughing)
Me: I know right?
Girl: We'll I guess we can't hang out then...(sarcastically)
Me: Meh, I'll make an exception...I'll call you at 6:30.
Girl: Okay, 6:30 it is.


Well 6:30 rolled around and during that time I got nervous, which completely threw off my game...basically ended the night with a hug, a little HH kino, and a 2nd (which never happened....) lol.


Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance guys

You need to work on staying in the moment. When you get into your head too much you start to goof up. Check out the Zen of Archery it talks about how to stay in the moment. Not only do people that do archery use the book so do professional athletes and poker players. It will help you live in the moment.

Secondly, make a concious effort to kino more and get yourself use to more physical interactions.

Usually when you overthink/plan or think about things, you end up getting nervous. Just chillax and go with the flow. There's no need to panic about anything.

Think of it like this: She is probably just as nervous as you.
