I had a quick search round the forums and couldn't find a response to this although I thought I saw it before. What do you do when I girl asks for a drink. This has happened to me on a number of occassions and I have been stuck for things to say. Not wanting to jump through hoops I have given range of results ranging from "Fuck Off" (!) to "Sorry I don't feel they need to buy girls drinks just so they will spend time with me." Everytime it doesn't really have a good effect and I end up looking just stingy. Does anyone have any good one liners they use to combat this? |

Here is what I usually say, "Okay, you buy the first round, I'll buy the next, and so on..." What do you do when I girl asks for a drink. The main idea behind not buying girls drinks as you know is jumping through their hoops. But if you put up one of your own by making them start with the first round, then they jumped through the hoop first and now you are just rewarding them for good behaviour. This should get you past this. |

You could also pretend that they are offering to buy you a drink, and tell them what you want. |

Weirdly noone asks much I guess its a uni town £1 a drink most just buy their own. But yar I used to rock out " really? has that ever worked?" just look confused. THey will usually be taken back if they say yup all the time just say something like I am sure one of these other guys will be happy to buy your affection ooh like that guy -point to a tool- he looks perfect for you. At this point they usually wonder why you didn't buy them a drink and you can start a nice us vs them sorta dealio |

This might be the link you were looking for... help-on-hold-my-drink-please-vt45981.html?highlight= Anytime an HB asks me to do anything for her, I have this response on auto-pilot. "Whats in it for me?" If she gives me any valid reason, she is seeking my approval. You are welcome. |
