Post subject:  Texting for a date question

So I met this HB7 at a bar last Sunday and we really hit it off (ie making out in the bar hardcore after about 15 min of game) I called her the next day and she didn't answer. About 15 min later she sent me a text, and I asked if she wanted to hang. Long story short, she and I would be busy until the following sunday. Here is my question...

We haven't spoken, or texted, since then and I need to set up the date. Any ideas on a good opener?

Keep in mind the girl you met drunk at the bar making out is not going to be the same girl who shows up for your date. In her mind she's thinking you're expecting the same make-out-casual-physical stuff. She's probably feeling a little remorse and embarrassment over that night and might not want to see you again, solely because you see her in that context.

If you really want to see her again, throw her a "I would really like to see you again, but I think we went a little far with the physical stuff... lets get to know each other better first" something along those lines so she knows you're not expecting her to be your cheap sex toy. What you do when she actually shows up is completely up to you. ;)

Instead of just giving her an open ended "want to hang out?", why not something more direct and specific like you already have a plan "How about sushi tomorrow at 7pm". Or, if you're worried about that not catching her interest, a more mysterious request "Meet me at ____, bring comfortable shoes" and do an activity date instead of a standard restaurant date. With the "comfortable shoes" text, she'll almost guaranteed text you back with a "how come?" in which case you respond "Come and find out."
