| Post subject: | Confidence Vs. Cockiness |
Heyy guys, I've been developing my confidence (from a low starting point) for about 3-4 years now, but now i think i've gone abit too far in a few aspects of myself whereby i come across as Over-confident or cocky.. I think in my attempts to become confident i've gone from one extreme to the other. I was wondering if someone could help myself (and others) out by perhaps listing afew qualities of a confident guy, and their behaviour.. Its a really open-ended question, but anything will help me at this stage. |

think about it this way: you had no confidence back then and probably had no women back then, right? now that you are overly confident (maybe you have a lot of women or maybe you don't, i don't know) women are at least going to notice you more now. women are attracted to confidence, that's what a fuckin girl tells you in the AFC days and, although i still believe that women are the worst givers of advice when it comes to women, that is true because it is a universal element of attraction. you never see the guy nursing his beer at the bar with his shoulders hunched and head drooping down being approached by women. besides, we men when in our AFC days always ask ourselves "why would she date him?! he's a fucking douchebag!" right? this is because women confuse confidence for cockiness, a lot of the times AMOG's who are just overly cocky could be as unsure of themselves as you or i might be, but they do not convey it. deception is key before you actually believe in your own sense of confidence. so don't worry about being too confident, in most cases there isn't really a thing as too much confidence. |

There is no such thing as "overconfident", but overcocky, YES. It's an asshole who loves himself while looking others down. PUA's see everyone as equals, everyone except those who act inappropriate. A succesful PUA can be everyones friend who wants to be his friend, its not like you have to pick your friends so you'll look more tough, you'll just look like an ass. More friends, more social power. Remember to say nice things too, for example, some people take all this negging and "I'm the best shit in this building, you'r not" too seriously. Calm down and take it easy there! To say it out loud and short, you only need to have the balls to act with a bit of cockiness giving it a little twist. |

It's vital that a PUA sees everyone as an equal. It's no good getting jealous about other PUAs. Or, too cocky is a turn off. But it's better to err on the side of over-confidence than diffidence. |
