| Post subject: | Tooling the obstacle and smoothing defenses |
I'm looking for advice on how to tool the obstacle who is clearly JUST a good friend with the girl, and how to transition the conversation from her auto pilot defence kicking off and smoothing back into conversation/routine where she can't accuse me of 'changing the subject'. Background: I'm pretty new this i admit but after a couple of number closes at a bar last night, a girl came close to taking me to the dry cleaners. I was drinking which probably didn't help. I first bumped into the girl at a pub quiz a few nights ago, she was with some people i knew, when i spoke to them i was the center of attention. I complimented her on her hoody, i genuinely like the brand hurley. She commented on me being a smooth talker. I entered the bar like the life of the party and said hey, had a hug and demanded some sugar (kiss on cheek). I put a glow stick down her top then wondered off, she then saw me hug some of my female friends and kiss a few (just lips or cheek)... playful stuff. Then i speak to her in the smoking area and say 'hey you've still got my glow stick, i'm going to need that back later' HB8 obstacle chump friend: Hey you're staring down her top. Me: Why? Theres nothing different there from half the girls in this club HB8: *laughing at me* Then i got totally owned someway, i can't exactly remember what she said as. |
