I know that David D. has a couple of books on it, but is that the only way to learn? |

Just read material and practise. Hard to explain. Funny: Just... be funny. Listen to comedians. Take everything light-heartedly. Tease people. Cocky: Improve inner game and realise you're awesome! |

Yeah, I think my biggest problem is going overboard. Its hard to learn not to in my opinion. I guess I'm just looking for something to learn to help me from doing it. |

Going OTT is fine. You get to cocky, you get shot down you tone it down a little next time. Your not cocky enough, you get shot down, you get a bit more cocky next time. Sometimes the time you spend looking for the magic answer will take longer than just doing some trial and error |

Practice man, its all practice. I had trouble with coming up with material that was original. So I decided to go experience life a bit. Go out and get involved with something that you can base some stories on and play up the funny/ridiculous parts. |

Sometimes I go over the events where I screw up and think about what I can do next time if the same occasion arises. When I read David D.'s materials, I usually imagine myself saying something similar to the example hes giving or even imagine a scenario in my head. Usually I see this C&F as the attitude you have around your friends.. only its not your friends, but a girl(s). I mean, Im PRETTY sure most guys act that way around their friends, joking and being asshole-ish to one another. I kinda do that with a girl (or girls) but toned down and eventually build it up when there's enough comfort. lol, i just realized this just now. Well, thats how I see C&F as (now in a new way.) Hope that helps. |
