Post subject:  Might be sounding like a player
A girl i had k-closed asked me how many GFs i've had. Now i don't lie, maybe just sometimes sound a bit better than i am in relations to women, so i told her i've only been in one relationship (even told her the truth that it was many years ago).

However, since i got into the PUA community i can easily feel that girls are getting an idea that i've been with many girls (like an alpha male) since i seem to know more about women than anyone else :lol: However, when i told them i've only had one GF i'm afraid in backfired (like being considered a player).

I tell them 'Yeah, won't say i'm lucky in love, i'm very picky when it comes to women, etc. etc. etc.' and stuff like that. I know i am not the first one in this situation, and probably some mPUAs out there that have tried it. It is more or less the truth actually, because i haven't had any luck with love, and i might be a bit picky, but what does the mPUAs say about this, and what do you think could help me out here, without a direct lie?

That's a pretty intimate question. I would not answer. Why do us guys always feel to need that we have to answer that stuff.

It's a shit test.

Just come up with some canned response, something along the lines....

Like put a weird look on your face. Like the cat who just swallowed the bird. Look around sort of nervously in an exagerated manner. Pretend you're making sure that the "coast is clear". Then draw her in close to you and admit, like you're letting her in on some heavy duty secret...

"how many GF's I've had? Ok,,,,, I don't know, but,,,, it's in the thousands! I don't understand it,, it's like I got this weird gift. It's like I got this freaky ability like Spiderman....."

What ever. Just get in the habit of not talking about stuff, you don't want to talk about.

So I am in the same situation. I am 22 and I have had many girls but I only consider one to be a relationship. I just tell her it is a big deal to be my girl friend and I have to find the right girl. I also tell them that I enjoy dating and that if she wants to stick around as my girl she has to impress me. This seems to work well, I never lie to anyone about who I am and my past. If the girl gets turned off then who freaking cares, she was never into me that much then. I only have time for girls who are serious.

Oh, i almost forgot to write back, though i had read them both. Two very good ones. The first one very funny :D Will use that, but the second, about making you the wanted one, is also excellent - as long as you just make sure it doesn't come out like i player.

yup sounds like a shit test flip it back on them, "how many have you had?", at this point lots will go quiet others will push it. At this point I would say something like "millions, in fact every other girl in this place is one of my girlfriends" then start pointing to them and making up ridiculous names (the further you descend into farce the less she will remember of the original question) "thats Doc, she's called bashful, I think its eastern european. Over there is Sleepy ...... "

dude just if she asks u if your a player, say "yah i used to play hockey" or something like that , or "yah your my 6500" that ones from stormys forum i think, but itll make her laugh and than u wont get her askin you again

I already posted this, but when a girl asks me if I am a player this is what I do:

If I'm attracted to her on a scale of 8-9/10 I actually take the time to explain her what is the difference between a player who goes from A to S and a me going from A to C to S, which in many case already got me a WOW you are so different from other guys. And if you feel like it , you can go further and explain the nice guys C to S and other social dynamics, showing that you understand how socializing works etc.

I'm not really into ESP or Magic tricks when it comes to transitioning or attraction so I like to use some social dynamics principles which has basically the same effect as ESP (but you gotta come out not as a boring nerd, but as somebody who is actually interested in human interaction, and knows a lot about it, if you want to try it)

If a girl asks me how many gfs I had, for the last 2 months I have been saying this: "I had more than Casa Nova and less than Don Juan (smark)" That just blanks them right away, and I just transition into something else without farther answers to the shit test.

Sporally, how exactly does it backfire on you? What do they say?

I can understand them seeing you as a player if they ask how many girls you've had sex with, but gfs seems different. If a girl asks me that, I just tell her the truth and it's never a problem.

Another classic which I forgot is "do I look like a player" then you will get yes or no, if they say yes say "erm .... thanks?" usually kills the thread quickly

Fun, but first one doesn't work in danish though. Second seems ok too, and i just imagined myself saying it as a swift response that comes out pretty funny :D

I've tried this one too (talking in a manner that doesn't make her get the idea i've read about it) and it really works :wink: However, i need a fast comment first of that make her know i'm not a player - then i can get into this and get DHV, but i don't usally want to start out with this conversation. I've used it most on some female friends of mine.

Well, i really have this idea that if you make girls know you're good with girls, they will soon consider you a player and get sort of 'anti-slut defense'. I want to make them know i am good with girls but that i respect them all as i do. Sometimes i get the idea that girls even think i'm a player, simply because a player would say the exact same, like "no, i'm not a player, hate those creebs". When i say it i mean it, but when players say it they lie - i'm simply afraid the girls believe i'm another player lying about not being a player.
They don't nessacsary say something back, but if they get an anti-slut defense-feeling inside them you have made DLV.

What does 'gfs' stand for?
