Quote: Sarge AA meetings. lolBut seriously try different venues to pick up girls at. Don't rely just on parties as your main place to get girls. |

I quit drinking in mid-August and still play beer pong all the time. Just grab a random girl around you and tell her she is your designated drinking partner. Then make sure you two are having more fun than anybody else in the place (I accomplish this by talking lots of shit to the other team and high-fiving the girl drinking for me and doing celebratory dances even if I'm doing awful).Whatever you do, stand true to your convictions. If you don't want to drink, don't start just because you think it will help you pick up more women. Your boy, 870 |

Yea cool post 870. Get the girl drunk and play beer pong without the drinking part! I recently stopped drinking. Got a dui! I have found that gaming is soooooo much better and easier when your not drunk. I didnt see this post and i post the same topic about a day ago. One guy just told me to be completely confident about what i believe and just confront the situation. I am really gonna try and have fun with it and just put the ball back in their court just like any other frame. When ppl ask i like: Who needs alcohol with all these beautiful women around. Also: i used to drink but too many woman were taking advantage of me. Mystery suggest to say i am high off of life. Good Luck P.S- Tyler Durden does not drink. One of my fav pua's. |

got really drunk last night first time in a while (usually i drink for the taste of beer, but this time i just drank a lot of rum) anyway I was looking through my camera and phone (to figure out what happened last night) i got 2 girls numbers but then i noticed i had texted 3 girls i had #closed earlier in the week and realised I had fucked my chances witht them. moral to the story is to not drink... too much |

I don't drink either. Most of the time, I don't get with girls who drink either. Often times because when I do go to a party, they're one of the only other ones that aren't drunk. You'd be surprised how many attractive/interesting girls don't drink. |

i dont drink either... doesnt stop me being the life and soul of the party, because everyone else is drunk, you can just blend in with a lil extroverted antics, my own personaility has me 1st on the dancefloor dragging my drunken mates, but thats just me, you can have fun without drink the same as you can sarge sets without alchol... if anything it gives you an advantage because you can think on your feet and use intutive and come back with witty remarks, use what some may perceive as a negative in not drinking to aid you in your success in the field |

If you don't drink it's no biggy. You'll do better than PUA's that do drink because your brain is sharp. On the other hand, its harder to be comfortable when you don't drink. If you don't like parties, maybe day game is your thing. |

as stated above, not drinking is actually a plus and if played right can make you more attractive to women. a guy who has self-discipline in the midst of temptation shows he is strong and knows who he is as a person. the only turn-off with people who don't drink is that they can make the person who is drinking a little more self-conscious about their drinking. i don't drink either, and it's amazing how often people will say something along the lines of "good for you. i've been trying to cut down on my drinking blah blah blah." it's almost as if they want to rationalize their behavior to you out of their own insecurity or guilt for their drinking, all the while i could care less if they drink or not. the key is to make it a non-issue. if a person can be just as relaxed around you sober as if the two of you were drinking, it will be a non-issue. on the other hand if you not drinking makes them feel uneasy about their drinking, then there will be a conflict. i studied the characteristics of people when they are drinking and found many of the characteristics fit in line with the life of the party. when people drink they are much more carefree, fun-loving and talkative. unfortunately they only way they get there sometimes is by drinking. i act the same way, but without drinking. as a result i've had people ask me how many i've had, when i've been drinking soda the whole time. lastly, i never make it known i'm not drinking. if someone asks me, why i'm not drinking i make it sound as if it is a one time thing. i might say something like i don't feel like drinking right now, maybe later. of course the maybe is really a no, but it usually puts a person at ease with the fact they are drinking and you are not. |

I really appreciated your post Mr. Natural. It's funny how a girl can become squirrely about her own drinking habbits if you draw too much of the wrong type of attention to your own abstinence. I don't volunteer any information, always have a glass of something with a garnish in front of me, and try to act as uninhibited as possible to maintain the illusion. Problem solved. If someone buys me a drink I tell them I'm driving and have had enough for now. I don't enjoy gaming girls that are too drunk. It's either not challenging enough and makes me wonder if it was my own PUA skills or the booze that got me the close, or they are unresponsive due to their intoxication level. Not to mention it's a little creepy being the sober guy cruising wasted chicks! |

I don't drink while picking up girls for a number of different reasons. First of all, like many others said, I want to be able to think on my feet and make quick, positive decisions. I have noticed that I can make many negative choices when I drink too much, and I would just rather avoid all of that in general. Second of all (and more importantly, I think), drinking to make picking up girls easier is cheating. What good does it do to your overall growth as an upcoming PUA if your 'drunk personality' is what's getting you all the closes and action? You won't learn anything this way. It's the whole, "I'd go talk to that girl if I had a couple shots right now..." You become dependent on the alcohol to pick up girls. This means you don't have the right inner game. I'm not against drinking, I'm just against drinking if there's girls around waiting to be picked up. |
