Post subject:  I always eject, it’s so automatic
80% of the time I ejected from a good set, why? It’s hard for me to say just why I do this because I know what i need to do and its not like I'm running out of things to say ether. This in its self is one of my biggest sticking points. I’m able to open a set successfully at least 8 out of 10 times, but I end up ejecting without reason 8 out of 10 times and I only really stay in set about 2 out of 10 times. Everything could be going perfectly, I’m getting IOI’s, they are responsive, I'm hitting all the right buttons and then I eject! It really pisses me off, because I know I’m better then this, it’s happens so automatic to and it’s been a very challenging habit to break………

I want to kill this habit and kill it now, any advice given would be a big help!

first, are u a virgin? or are u scared of the prospect of getting laid?

i really dont see how u can suddenly eject from a set when u are getting iois and are running the set except for the reasons above or if u are just trying to practice a certain portion of your game but it doesnt seem like it from what u are saying.

I've encountered this before, back in the day.

It's essentially a sneaky form of AA, it's better known as Transition Anxiety.

Treat it in the same way man, just force yourself to transit, visualise, do whatever helped you with AA for this.

It'll be broken soon enough.

You just hit the hammer on the nail, its kind of Funny because I don't really get AA when it come to opening anymore. The only time that I get it is when it thinking about moving forward in an interaction. I'll try and using NLP on this, if it works like it did with my AA then I should be fine afterwords.

No, and no, on occasions when I'm "in the Zone" I have totally kicked and played solid game. That is how I got my current girlfriend about a month ago and its been some very happy days!

I do the same thing, and seemingly it comes from nowhere; it's like a gear slips, your head fills with static and suddenly you're walking in the opposite direction without knowing why. In my opinion it has everything to do with self preservation, which in itself is a pretty pernicious thing to allow yourself to feel in a social environment - I did this tonight with a girl I'm really into.

The only solution I've come across so far, and it's palliative rather than addressing the underlying problem (which is something we all have to do for ourselves, I'm guessing...I'm still working on it) is anchoring. I never believed any of that NLP bullshit actually worked until I tried it. Now I adjust my watch strap and imagine the actress I used to date straddling me and whispering 'you're gorgeous' in my ear. The only caveat to this is, it only seems to work for me with people I want to fuck, rather than people I want more from, which is both weird and annoying.

You are not allowed to eject anymore.

If you do, you must go back within one minute and #close. And I mean you re-open by CLOSING. Go back and the first words out of your mouth should be, "hey, it was cool talking to you." Hand the girl your phone. "Here, punch your number in."

That sounds like a pretty good idea to me.

Now you have no other option than to move forward or crash and burn. Hitting the Eject button will randomly pick one of stated options for you.
