Post subject:  Field report 5 of 5 (I’m stuck)

This is the first time I have been in the field since I started reading about what it takes to be a PUA…. And I really need some help :(

Ok this is the last one. I got talking to these two girls HB6.5 & 8 after some time of patchy conversation, slowly beginning to flow better, the HB6.5 (my wing argued 7.5, but I disagree) suggested we move over to another part of the club to dance. I CANNOT DANCE so I said “ok see later” they both looked disappointed. And when we saw them later they passed by and said the other club they were going to.

What could I have done to stop them, or stay with them in the first place and what could I have done to keep them in the same club as me when they were passing by and telling me they were going to this other club?

You seem to be trying to make it very situational rather than canned. This is a very bold move on your part, but for a beginner, stick to canned openers.

Just approaching someone in a bar is telegraphing interest, so try to focus on your body language and firing off that first neg.

Go ahead and go to the dance floor next time. There is no such thing as "can't dance." There is only "think I can dance" or "think I can't dance."

And there's nothing wrong with the verbal component of your openers. Go situational all you want.

Do you want to use Mystery Method? You seem to be staying away from it. If so, that's cool, there are other methods out there. You might be more of a Juggler or Zan dude.

Congrats on five approaches on your first night, by the way. You're gonna get good fast if you keep up that level of activity.

You sound like you're pretty scared. What are you scared of?

Here try this:

Walk up to a girl and say "Excuse me but I just shit my pants. Can I have your phone number?"

If you can do that, you shouldn't have any problem with approach anxiety or going natural.

Post subject:  I take the challange:-)

Thanks for the advice guys.

As for staying away from a particular method... well no. I just dont really know any methods - mystery's or otherwise - and will happly try anything that is going to help me and on that guru0z I accept the challenge 8) (I dont know if it was a challange or just an example, but it seems like a good way to overcome approach anxity so I will do it and post here when I have to say how it went)

If i would suggest ANYTHING for you that seems to be your style, I suggest Cory Skyy, and Rsd blueprint decoded, blueprints is all for your inner game (very deep and changing your reality) Cory Skyy uses affirmations, which you don't have to do, but i uggest his level of game.

I think the most important thing to remember at this point is: Don't get discouraged. If you're learning basketball for the first time you can't expect a lot of success in your first couple of games. I've seen too many guys who are starting out give up because they wanted success immediately. So don't give up. Keep at it.

2. Learn to dance. I couldn't dance at first either. Now, I'm not one of the greatest dancers, but I can blend in. Practice dancing in your house everyday in till you feel comfortable with your moves. Remember, your goal isn't to be the best dancer out there, but rather your goal should be to blend in so you don't feel self conscious.

3. Start small. The canned stuff helped me when I got stuck. It's important to only use the canned stuff as a basic outline. You don't want to memorize it word for word. Instead, use it as a general guide in your interactions in till it becomes natural.

Again, don't expect immediate success. It's like training for a marathon. At first you may only be able to run a few miles, however your goal should be to make it a bit further than you did last time in till you can run the whole thing. Don't give up and good luck.

Like the person above said don't get wrapped up in a lot of the canned stuff. Of course the openers are good but once you can get a conversation going you should let your natural game take over and if you get stuck then you can just simply use something canned or something you read here to get "unstuck". Also I would so went with those girls to invite you to the dance floor and then to hint at an invite to another place IMO is 2 IOI's . They were basically opening up to you , and about the dancing just moves as they move lol most likely they'll just be grinding on you and just go with the flow.

regardless good work to start and im sure you'll become great in no time
