Post subject:  Mind goes blank

It's like an exam right now every time I talk to a HB, I don't know what it is, lack of experience I imagine but still what can I do!

Last night for an example, I was at the bar buying a drink, there was two girls next to me, I showed interest but never spoke, I got my drink and left, Me and friends were sitting in this large booth type seat with two tables, I sat around the back, seconds later the two girls that were at the bar sat at the other table in the booth, the two of them were hot but my target was sitting around the back as well. The other had a phone out and I opened with 'Are you that bored?' she laughed and said no the phone keeps going..I didn't know what to say next so didn't say anything. A friend of there's came a boy, I was put off as I didn't know if he was a friend or boyfriend, he sat down and the girls moved round, now my target was closer to me, in fact she was that close she was basically sitting next to me, as in near enough touching. I waited for the boy to talk to the other girl and so I opened with her 'hey don't mind me you can sit on my knee if you want' turning towards me and looking as she smiled I then said 'so You got your free pass then'.. As there was free passes about for one of the clubs but she said No as there were going to the other one that's £10 to get into it...we spoke briefly in fact not very long about 1 minute at the least, I ran out of interesting things to say, i was thinking to hard rather than just being natural. I just drank and spoke to my friends, soon later she went some where probably the toilet but when she came back they just moved round again so the boy was next to me but he didn't come nowhere near as close. good!

I can open sets no problem and approaching isn't a worry either but it's the next step, I fail most of the time, Can somebody point me in a direction please.

good post, good questions, yes it sounds like you are new, but new is where the excitment isso stick with it. where else can you buy a rush like that for $10, and ride as often as you like.

some general point.
1. stay away from close ended questions, thats where the answer can be yes or no. ask open questions, thats why the "opinion" opener is so good.
2. keep it on topics there are interested in.
3. keep it fun, smile a lot, and throw around some silly stuff.
4. if you get stuck, pick someone in the crowd and just ask, "im curios, would you set a guy up like that with your best friend....why?" or "what do you think of what she chose to wear tonight...." "how long do you think it took him/her to get ready".

with that in mind, get into your head, 5 or 6 fun, open questions that you can ask at anytime in the "opening phase". this forum is full of them. something like
1. how long you known your best friend for.
2. take a good look at her and say, did you buy all these clothes at the same time, you is this something you throw together tonight.... " "did you buy those shoes just to go with that dress".... then neg her about her shopping, lack of shopping, being high/low maintenance..
3. did you get your hair done just for this club,
4. so whats you're type of guy, sports jock or computer nerd. whatever she says just say "arrr too bad, I just came here straight from the gym/computer club, wanna see my muscles, do want some cool computer facts..."

if she doesn't give you material back..... so the conversation doesn't bounce.... just tell her, if she was as interesting as she was cute, you might have given her your friends number... and leave with a smile and a hand shake.

good luck bruv.

Thanks for the reply bro, also cheers for the tips and heads up.

Yes are am new, more new to the in-field game, I've been doing online game for a month of two now and it's coming along, however my replies aren't as quick as I'd like right now but there working, it just takes me that little bit to think on what to say, Of Course when online that's not a problem and that's the problem I'm facing In-Field as i don't have that time to think!

I'm sticking with that it's my lack of experience in game and to keep opening sets and reading.
