I reckon im failing in this department. I wanna make them interested and wanna txt me back but all thats going thru my head to say is, "how was the day" and other mundane bullshit. ideas? |

Hiya, I'm not great at texting either. It's not the most expressive way of communicating, and I find it quite hard to say anything interesting in like 148 characters. It's a skill that I'll learn though, and one thing I did today was this, it seems to be working; Me and this girl have been on two dates which went really well, we kissed both times bla bla bla (check the thread I created about it), anyway, things have gone a bit cold so I text her last night saying; Heya babe, your probably asleep by now but gimme a text tomoro cos ive been thinking about u and stuff. xx then this morning she text me back Morning georgeous, your right, i gave in and went to sleep. what you thinking about? xx and then I just text her back Oh it doesn't matter babe, don't worry. hows ur day going anyway? and she replied with this pretty long message like ahhh i hate it when people do that bla bla bla in a jokey way. It worked kind of like a text neg. I just text her back a second ago saying that maybe ill tell her what it was if we meet again soon. Now the balls in her court. |

I rarely text. In my opinion texts have little value in the game. The reason is when from the opener to the close, in my opinion one should always be steadily escalating. From experience, if you stop escalating or take too long to escalate when it is due, then you will be friendzoned, and for me, this is what texts do. AFC's text too much. The only reason I can think of for texting a lot is to remind the girl of you, but this is beta logic. Better to call her and set up a date. Each to his own, but this might be something to consider =) |

I have unlimited texting and it has helped me out a lot. I rather text than have normal conversation on the phone, because during texting you speak your own mind with minimal barriers. But if you are not consistent with what you say or do, it won't work. It's almost like a mind game. -Klever- |
