I've noticed that in my game, I'm lacking a very important tool - probably even one of the MOST important. Being subtle. I find when im dealing with AMOGs, im either hot or cold. I'll either say something like "yo, you really just need to shut the fuck up" or i'll just let them AMOG me. During the A1-A3 phase im very relentless and don't give much room for comfort. I feel I could subtly give comfort during these stages. During the Comfort phase, I tend to go a little AFC and don't use subtle teases/negs/C + F that is still needed to keep the attraction alive. |

Either way you lost and looked stupid. The winning strategy in AMOGing is to get the other person to respond more. The more you are responding to his behavior, the more you isolate yourself. |

Yeah, I agree. I recommend studying some RSD material, it is great for amogging. One of the best amogging techniques in my opinion is to frame an insult as a compliment, in order to get them qualifying to you. I'll give you two recent examples of mine (admittedly not the best) but they are copy and pasted from my FR's: At this point the girls clap and I do some more high-energy fluff talk, like “So are you guys enjoying the night!!!! Good, because I like girls who have fun!!! Then amog comes in.: Amog: “Hey girls!” HB8: “OMG, heyyy amog!!! (big hug)” Gamble: (Immediately spotting the situation, I regain the frame and amog) “HEYYYY DUDE! (really loud and taking back the frame. I slap his shoulder and give him a thumbs up). NICE TO MEET YOU MAN, What’s your name?” (As I say this I turn him slightly so he is out of the circle and I am in) Amog: Tells me his name. Gamble: “Hey nice dude, you seem pretty cool!” (Shakes hands again). Now that I have established that I am the alpha male, I freeze out HB8 and amog and talk to HB7. HB8 then tries to get my attention and tells amog I’m a really good dancer. Gamble: “You told him! That was our secret!!” HB8: (cheeky and knowing smile) “Oh well, you’ll have to show us!” Amog: “I bet I can dance better than him” (Everyone is ignoring the amog because of the way I have positioned him) Gamble: “Well…only if you give me a kiss, then maybe” (charming smile) HB8: “Ok!!” Jumps in. Gamble: “Hold up hold up! It has to be two kisses this time!” HB8: Kisses me once on each cheek. At this point I do the dance and Amog walks off, realising that I killed the set. And another one on the same night, but different set: At this point Amog comes. This seemed to happen a lot that night, same sort of routine. HB7: “HEYyyyyyyyyy amog I haven’t seen you all night!” Amog: “Heyyy HB7, gimme a hug!” Gamble: (Immediately taking back the frame) “HEYYYY MAN! Nice to see you man what’s up!” (Thumbs up) Amog: “Keep your hands off her alright.” Gamble: “HEyyy dude (slaps him on back and ignoring comment), your shirt is totally cool man, I had one like that last year, I loved it.” Amog: “Yeah..(he then qualifies himself about his shirt)” Gamble: “Dude, don’t worry man I like you, you don’t have to impress me” (I give him a hug). Amog: Leaves the set. Hope that gives you an idea about the amogging part of your post. |
