I'm pretty sure I can't recover from this, but if I can, I'd really like all the help I can get. Backdrop: Girl I knew from awhile back that I was deep in the friends zone with. Left the picture for a good year and just started talking to her again over myspace. Was a smooth ride all the way to C1 and busted out the cube. She LOVED it and I told her: "Now since I know all this about you, I feel you deserve to know me. If you could ask me 3 questions about anything, what would they be?" She asked her 3 questions, and she wanted me to be very detailed. I gave her really broad/short answers. This made her kinda aggrivated her and she said "The answers to your questions sucked" Me: "I'll make up for it when I make your toes curl back, fair enough?" Her: "Eh, no thanks. I'm in a really bad mood right now and I would suggest not talking to me, sorry." Me: "I'll take you up on that offer." --- Haven't talked to her since (this was 2 days ago) Is there anyway I can recover? |

One step forward, two steps back. You need to go back to attraction building now. Call her up and ask if she's in a better mood. Then tell her a DHV story. Act like you know what you said and you know that you made a mistake, but it isn't affecting you. You need to talk confidently to pull this off. If she's starts talking about what you said, apologize, but be a man about it. Admit your mistake with confidence. If you try and lie your going to blow any chance you have. It might put you back a stage or two, but it will keep you from blowing it with this girl. And next time, give her broad but long answers. That is your time to establish comfort and rapport. Take your opportunity there with her questions. |

Dude for the record when a chick is pissed off DONT MAKE NO SEXUAL REFRENCES! This will only piss her off even more. As for recovering you can either try to pretend it didn't happen and risk looking needy (you painted yourself into a cornor with the response "I'll take you up on that offer.) Or you can just move on which is the best thing to do IMO. Who knows maybe she'll start talking to you again on her own. |

You shouldve made the answers funny and silly, chucked a real one in there and teased her. The second she says sucked, your reply shouldve been, go eat dick! And when she says Eh no thanks, im in a bad mood you say, um k talk to me when your over your period. Pleasure |

Giving long answers to questions provide you with an opportunity to DHV, build rapport and comfort. All good things to have if you want to close later. Making sexual comments is a sure way to DLV. |
