hey i'm sure everyone has come across this before; you make a comment, and its not particularly funny, then someone does an exagerated sarcastic fake laugh, and tells you how funny you are has anyone got a come back to this? it annoys the shit out of me! but for the life of me i can't think of an appropriate response, normally i say nothing, pretend i dont care, is that an alpha response? this girl i work this does it quite often, frankly i think she looks stupid when she does it but i also feel like shes won. it annoys me more cus i just dont like this girl. hey this is a pretty stupid post but you know its all about the small things in life, lol |

just give her a kinda puzzled/dirty look. it'll be a nice neg as well. i believe mystery showed his students this on Vh1 but it was if they bumped with the other girls. |

My canned response to this is to go C&F: You: joke Her: exaggerated sarcastic laugh You: (Exaggerate this loads, grab her shoulder and say) Haha, thanks! I know I'm so funny, don't laugh too hard! I often couple this with some push/pull role reversal: "I like you, you laugh at my jokes even when I'm not trying to be funny! You don't do this to every guy you try to pick up to you? (No) Good, then if you're lucky we'll get along just fine!" Field tested, never fails me. It's about delivery though, as most C&F lines are. |

PUA: Dude why do you have to try so hard for people to like you? Everyone fucking loves you man!! You dont need to try to get them to! (remember this is a last result - only if they are seriously rinsing you - make sure they arnt a threat to you coz this is pretty direct.) Then they are going to go AMOG: What are you talking about?? Im just la.. (cut in) PUA: Dude its not a big deal really. we dont need some scientific far fetched reason as to why your doing it. Just be yourself man. or you could just say - PUA: Wow, your as loud as your mum was last night. Personally id just bear it mate. Ignore them. Get the group away from his side - PUA: Ok we well leave you to yourself now - you obviously think your pretty funny. Dont try so hard man. |
