Post subject:  Peacocking, Image its all gone wron a real issue!

Ok so look I've been doing this PUA game for about a year, experienced and seen some REALLY strange stuff but recently came to hit a 50 foot stone wall and its screwed me over big time.

Peacocking - I took a new job 6 mths ago as a cop. Everything was cool I used to have spikey brown hair with bleeched spikes and some crazy outfits... Now heres the issue.

6 mths down the line I've finished my training as a cop and the first thing my new boss has said to me is "shave your head you cant have bleeched hair in this job its unprofessional"

Ok so I'll bite, im new ... I take the clippers to my head jarhead style.

Now WHATEVER I seem to wear from my "previous" life, just doesnt look right. I look and feel like a different person, almost institutionalised by this damn job - so much so that I've lost a lot of my carefree playful nature and found myself a few nights ago walking around the club puffed chest looking like "im mr tough-guy" - It so isn't me and I cant use any of my old material like the spells opener, it used to work so well but now my image just somehow prevents me from running those routines.

Now I cant really get any piercings, cant do anything crazy with my hair, I'm just lost what I can do.

Any advice would be great - struggling big time.
I feel like Buzz Lightyear in the Malibu Barbie Isle of the Toy store!!!

rely less on things that will ''stain'' you.
no permanant hair dye - fuck it - you get gel that has colourings that wash out and appear permanant. grow your hair back and put that in.
get fake peircings - no1 argues.
what im sayin is you can have the exact same affect - with things that wont be there permanantli.
and keep you work life and pua life seperate.

dude hair is an accessory just like everything else. wearin a ring or two and necklace wouldnt hurt. sunglasses in the day sometimes, anything really eye-catching but not begging for attention is good. just do what you normally would have done.

Rings, necklaces and some nice clothes. Why not go Mr. Big tough guy in a really cool jacket (fancy dress style)?

No I'm not saying that at all, read the post, what I'm saying is my profession dictates that I have to have a certain style and by shaving all my hair off I feel and look like a completely different person. I was then asking for assistance because having my hair spiked and bleached previously, somehow made me feel more playful and funky.

At no point did i say people with short hair cant run game Style has no hair.

Apart from that, theres some points for thought there. I've spoken to a few girl mates to pivot for me next week so I'll try that as well as some non-permanent items.

Cheers

Dude - think Beckham.

Buzzed hair, king of peacocking.

He does it through interesting clothes, awesome accessories - like multiple layers of necklaces, a couple Buddhist bracelets, interesting sunglasses... just google him.

Find guys who fit your criteria (buzzed hair, nothing permanent/extreme) who are fashionable and 'peacocks'... watch their style for ideas.

Ever think that maybe this is an inner game issue?

The fact that your outer apperance can effect your game so much is an internal problem. You are the same person now as you were when you had the crazy hair and all that jazz. There is no real reason that none of your material will work when you change your appearance. I would say that this is an oportunity to enhance your game to the next level. Take the time and figure out why you feel less confident without the looks. And dont try to tell me its not a confidence issue since a confident man would be capable of using any opener he wants any time he wants with no hesitation, and you yourself said " I cant use any of my old material like the spells opener,...". I would be willing to guess that the look you had made for yourself when going out defined how you interacted with women. Your frame was influenced by the clothes you were wearing and not by you.

I have seen alot of guys use peacocking as a crutch. The fact of the matter is a guy who has his inner game handeled will be able to do it wearing anything. That includes average normal clothes.

bro i intentionally go from the rec to the cafeteria with my raquet sometimes

sometimes i dont wear a shirt

u just want to stand out somehow. sometimes if there is a reason to saysomething loudly thats enough. being a cop that is willing to do something nonconservative in itself is peakocking

you can use short hair to start kino! basically you go do you think that this feels weird and then they start touching your hair. you could ask them what you should do with your hair then move on!

Yeh cheers guys, thats inspired some thought

I think it is a confidence Issue, its always easy to hide behind, props, make-up and put on an act and I guess having someone order me to buzz my hair and say well "you dont have a choice" attitude I guess it just knocked me down.

I'll post a pick once I've sorted my gear out,

Back to basics for me :)

Thanks again
