Post subject:  How to respond to the question "how old are you"
I live in canada. So I've been going out to bars and clubs since i was 19.
I'm 20 now and I still look like im 17. This is a bit of a problem when I am trying to land someone over 23, 25 any of that shit. I was hoping that some of you would be able to help me out with a line or response to that.

I have tried

"how old do you want me to be"
"does age really matter"
"I'm 20"
"I'm 25 i know i look young"

any suggestions would be awesome.

mystery describes it as hoop theoryy.. she wants u to jump through her hoop (question) by answering.. but u become more playful/fun by giving her a response back

Girl:How old are you?

You: Guess

1)Girl: i dunno just tell me ---> you: hey im not that easy.. then say guess again or ignore her

2) Girl: she guesses an age '19?'
You: close, im actually 20, then continue

if she goes 'you look young' shes shit testing.. ignore or something witty like 'cant handle the young stallion?' LOL actually jsut go for the ignore.. age doesnt matter to u remember ur ALPHA!!

you can then ask the same question to her

you: how old are you?
she responds: guess
(shes tryna hoop you, respond with)
you: do u want me to guess high or low?
her: low!!!

games on.. hope that helps something man gl!

I like saying Im heaps older than I actually am. Im 18 but look 20ish so when they all find out im so young they get a little distant.

This is hoop theory. Never just jump through their hoops. You can but make sure you make them jump through one of your own back. I gamed this stripped about 3 week ago:

Stripper: How old are you?
Me: Guess?
Stripper: You look young, maybe 21
Me: Close. Im actually 23
(Now her turn to jump through my hoops)
Me: So how old are you?
Stripper: 31
Me: Yea. Your too young for me!

Older women love when I say that one. Anyways I number closed her EZ.
Just make sure if you jump through their hoops you make them jump back in return.

Hey. I find the easiest response to this is just to be totally cool and aloof about it all.

When they ask you your age indirectly, just ignore the question. They usually forget they asked you, and life goes on. If they get to know you for long enough and never actually 'ask', they'll eventually not care.

However, if they come right out and ask bluntly, dodging it just seems sketchy. They can tell you're embarrassed about it for some reason. So when they ask directly, don't even pause... just say, '37' with a straight face and keep talking. At this point they're totally lost... they're backpedaling trying to figure out whether they tooootally called it wrong, or you're BSing them. Eventually they stop you, back up, and say, 'No really... how old are you?'

You just keep chuckling and teasing them... 'What - just because I shave you don't think I'm 42?' HB: 'You just said 37...' You: 'I know. What's your point? Anyway... about them Red Sox...'

Haha. Finally you quit playing this stupid game and just be like, 'Haha - I'm 20. Calm down :) I'm not some old creeper'. By now she's so 'not in control' that you could say you're 16. You've already established your control over the situation.

2nd time: Im 250 years old.

3rd time: No of course Im not 250, Im 260 but I tell girls that I am a bit younger to get into their pants.

Or just tell them your age.

I'm 19 and look like I'm about 21/22 (apparently). I was speaking to one chick a while ago and she popped up with this question, now personally I've never looked my age so I did as usual "Guess", sure enough she said 21 but rather than keep that subject going I just said "Nope, 19" very sort of unreactively if that makes sense, then went into something else without asking her age because as we all know, age doesn't matter. Worked quite well because after we stopped talking about whatever it was I went into she said "I'm 18/19 (I forget) by the way" which I took as an IOI. Didn't go for any closes though as she was there with her boyfriend so was just practice really.
