| Post subject: | girl with an obsessed ex |
Ok was at an 18'th last night and got talking to this girl. Took her to various places around the bar and finally went in for the kiss close. As i'm going for it she pulls away and she's like "Id really like to kiss you but my ex is here and it will break his heart" So i'm like "fair enough lets just go to the downstairs part of the bar" but still shes like "i cant do it, my ex will know." So i just got up and said i needed to go to the toilet to try and freeze her out a bit. When i get back she's talking to her ex on a sofa in the corner of the bar.When the bar closed i talked to her outside and made her take my number because i forgot mine. She hasn't text'd me so i guess shes flaked... What should i have done or do you think she was still into her ex? |

she might have still been into her ex... she had a better connection with him than she had with you... you could have tried building a powerful connection with her by opening up, taking about feelings,etc... kissing, touching is not enough... her soul has to want you as well

She has respect for her ex. That's about as straightforward as it gets, man. LolI would have said "hey, I really like the fact you care about your ex's like that. Shows you have heart babe  " kiss her on the cheek/head maybe, (perhaps a takeaway to the toilets here would have been good) but then tell her you'd really like to get to know her SERIOUSLY. And give/get number and be cool about it. Freeze-outs is cold, because she's obviously trying to protect her ex-bfs feelings. She ain't a heartless beeyatch, give her some credit! Lol.This way, even if she didn't txt you back, she probably really appreciated hearing it from a stranger she met that night. Ex wouldn't have been a problem, had she known that (a) It's OK for her to respect him (as she would YOU if you were her ex) and (b) You're totally cool and understanding and (c) She KNOWS that you are attracted to her, would have gotten you some cool as social kudos for being cool with it and (d) She wanted to kiss you, so if you encouraged her about this issue, I'd imagine she'd want to do more than just kiss you later on lol... so in THAT scenario, i'd say her chances of replying in this case would be pretty high. |

Thanks for input guys! She txtd back two days later and it's on. Do you think she was gaming me by waiting so long before txting me? |
