I find it difficult to entertain people, especially at parties. I feel confident asking ridiculous or personal questions but rarely have much to say about myself in conversations. For example, the other day, I saw a good looking girl across the room from me and made a bold, funny comment. She was intrigued and asked me to come sit next to her. I told her to come join me on the bed instead which she did. BUT, as soon as we got past this exciting approach stage, the conversation became boring and her body language and interest gradually shut down. Could you give me some tips on how to have genuinely exciting interactions with people (this applies to boys and girls). I feel as though I am unable to create an engaging exchange with people and the situation becomes uncomfortable. There is no flow in my conversation and both of us quickly begin to look for ways out of the conversation. Any advice appreciated. |

Basics Talk to them like you would talk to your friends. Sprinkle in flirtation, compliments, and innuendo. Get them to talk about themselves, their goals, growing up, things that you can agree on, etc.. If you're bold enough, start off with attraction in your convo. |
