| Post subject: | Age difference ( House Party) |
I have run into this problem for quite sometimes. I went to some house parties over this month and I continuously ran into those sticky points. Most party I attended: 1) I didn't know anyone except 1-2 people that invited me. 2) I am always the minorities in the party(not being racist) and I am generally younger than 99% of the people at the party. 3) I just turned 19 a couple months ago and those people at the party was averagely 25-30 yrs old. 4) How to break into cliques where people already knew each other and they are talking about stuffs that I have no knowledge of or in a different language. I tried different strategy like speaking as if I am one of the host and making people believed I know lots of people there. It turns out great for socializing and I can talk to lots and different people, but I find it hard to attract girls there as they are always older than me by a margin or on other words I cannot find girls that were into me at all. Its a hit on my ego as I am vastly different when I am back to my age group. I need advice and opinion guys! |

How about lets find scenarios in which the odds are not stacked against you as you've already pointed out???

Do some cold approach. Where you're in control of the demographics and who you choose to game and can really push yourself. So, that way, you're not dependent on parties. |
