I hit this sticking point very often. I'll get a girl hooked and loving me, and then the age question will come up. I don't know why, but I seem to do better with women in the 25-29 age bracket. Those are the girls I hook most often. The younger ones shy away after a bit and I'm not interested in the older ones.

In response to the question "how old are you?" I'll either lie and say I'm 26 or 27 (I can't plausibly pass for any older than this), or I'll tell the truth and say I'm 25. Often I'll see a look of shock on her face like "omg I'm older than you." Typically it's only one or two years, but some girls think it's a big deal. I've used the typical lines, "age is just a number" and "I'm wise beyond my years". Sometimes I'll neg her and say "yeah, you're so old you could be my grandma". Stuff like that. However, this reduces the quality of the interaction and consequently reduces my chances of pulling her. Has anyone encountered and surpassed this sticking point? If so, how?

I'm 29 and don't think I've EVER spoiled an interaction due to my age - and I've dated up to 9 years younger and 4 years older! In fact my first two girlfriends were a bit older than me. The only issue I can think of here is that you're making it an issue. Are you the one who raises the question of age? Either way, I'd probably either pay absolutely no attention to it or make a joke (I know, you've got a toyboy now) and THEN absolutely forget it.

I never bring it up and I frequently dismiss it. Some girls bring it up and seem to like me less if they find out I'm younger than them. Of course, there have been a few who don't care.

Maybe your Value is not high enough. My last girlfriend was 25, when i was 21, and last 4 girlfriends before her were 1-2 years older than me. It's all about your frame and if you are interesting, funny guy, like none of their ex they won't be frightened from your age.

My best guess is that you are way too worried about this and the girl can tell. If you get nervous about this point then most girls will pick up on it. And if you are going in to your head and freaking out about "Oh no, I wonder how this is gonna go now that she knows that she is two years older than me!" then you aren't focused on the interaction and that in and of itself will decrease the quality of the interaction. This is in your head. Girls honestly don't care if you are one or two years younger than you. If she makes a big deal of it you should come from a place of completely not caring and teasing her about caring. Some of the lines posted above are good but they have to be delivered without you getting all nervous over the situation.
