There’s this girl I negged on Facebook about being in a fashion designer fan group, one thing led to another and she’s actually quite down to earth and seemed like a nice person so about 2.5 weeks later we went out for a drink. There was quite a bit of anxiety for her as I could tell, but I managed to make the conversation flow freely within minutes, we had LOTS of laughing and talked about various things, our meeting was just for a quick drink to know us better, and we ended up talking for 3 hours and then I took the initiative to tell her its time we have to go. Anyways, my sticky point is transition. I manage to make girls feel comfortable with me quite easily but then I dunno how to take it to the next level. She told me she’s free, she said she’s been single for 1 year. Next day on MSN she told me she has a very good impression about me.. But I still dunno what to do next. I have a good job, I’m sociable and go out a lot, I have a sense of style, and so confidence-wise I’m fine. I do feel like I deserve to have this girl (and most I go out with) so I think my inner game is ok.. Something else is keeping me from closing with ease, what could it be? My mate is having a party at a club on Saturday and we’ve booked a section there for around 25-30 people so I’m thinking of “casually” inviting her to come with a friend of hers.. Something in the context of “hey my friend is having a party at such place, come and join us with your friend”. I can’t easily close there, but on our next date (perhaps Sunday afternoon for coffee or Monday) I must close.. |
