I sometimes see myself as a guy who'd give a straight-up answer to a straight-up question. Has this ever happened to you?: HB: "Hey, what time is it?" PUA: "It's a quarter past three." HB: "How are you?" PUA: "Not much. How 'bout you?" HB: "What's the answer to problem number 5?" PUA: "k[A][D]^2." I know it's all banal and bland, but being imaginative and more creative is a little challenging for me to put a spin on my answers. I know for a fact that I can be a little C/F, but I'd think chance had something to do with it. I personally leave nothing to chance. When seeing the world through hardcore facts, it becomes frustrating to add a little color to an otherwise black-and-white perspective. Maybe I don't read the news or go out often because of classes, but whatever the case, I need to be a bit more... unpredictable. |

It's takes practice ... but my mantra is ... "How can I make my self laugh" ... or "How can I take it even further?" Train yourself when ever someone ask you "How are you?" reply with: "Fantastic", "Awesome", "Supercalifragilisladouches", "Out of this world" ... notice how the feeling inside you change to match those words. Then notice the positive reply the person asking you ... - This is from Tony Robbins ... using words to express how you feel to change the intensity of how you feel. You can say that you are "Pissed the fuck off!" or you can say "I am slightly irritated" ... both phrases has different intensity in negativity. - If you feel nervous you can positive reframe it to I am excited ... - If you feel lazy reframe it to "I am conserving energy." "How can I take it even further?" - When someone is dissing me ... I don't take it personal ... I exaggerate it and make even more awkward for my entertainment. - For example: Girl: "Are you gay?" me: Take personally and be butt hurt by it and ruin my night ... or I could take it further, exaggerate, to keep my mood positive.... Me: "I am super gay!" ... spin her around and slap her ass ... or go for the make out. "How can I make my self laugh?" - Girl: "What do you do?" - Me : "I am an engineer" or Me: "I am a prostitute. 2 dollars to see it 3 dollars to touch it." or Me: "I build shelter for puppies who can't bark." - To me it is super funny saying these things ... I don't care if they laugh or not ... but because my vibe is positive and I genuinely find it funny ... they will start to laugh to because my state/vibe is transferred to them. Plus no one wants to be a party pooper and dis your childish behaviour ... they want to laugh and have fun so they will join you! Sincerely Donston |

Thanks for the tip, man. Perhaps when people ask me how I've been, I could say stuff like, "Confident!" "Invincible!" "I could take on the world!" But despite me not feeling this way, my words will eventually become more than just metaphors... they'll become my reality that'll happen sooner than expected Giving over-exaggerated answers instead of the simple ones requires a little bit more thought. Better give this a go. I'll be sure to use your advice and tell you how it goes. Again, thanks for this great advice. |

Another advice is to lower your standards of what is funny, creative, impressive to you. That way you will remove all your filters and you will find some crazy funny creative shit that you will be saying, "Where the fuck did that come from?" Example: Girl: What do you do? Me: I'm a Pokemon master. or Me: I am a priests .... The point is to remove your filters that hinders you to be creative, impressive, funny ... Have fun ^_^, Donston |
