Post subject:  How to develop the post-opener phase?

Hi guys.

I have a problem, I don't know about what to talk to a chick after launching the opener.

I have'nt any fear. I'm quiet. But after the opener, I would like chatting up with her about any bullshit. I would like to change the subject and not having to eject.

What must I do?
Must I have prepared an emergency subject after the opener?

(I don't have any rutine). But if I start talking about irrelevant stories I will show her a needy behaviour, right?

So I have to launch a bait so that she invests in me, doesn't she?

What baits and what type of baits do you use?
Could you writte any example for me, guys?

Thanks

Watch some footage of the "who lies more" opener. When the "cheats" question follows it's obvious that it was preplanned because it's such a redirect in the conversation, but it works because you've hopefully set it up properly.

If you're tyring to just make conversation that kind of quick shift is what you want to avoid. Topics should just flow into each other. When something comes up in the conversation that you can build a new thread off of do it. This will set up multiple conversation threads well. It gives her the "we have so much to talk about" sensation, because she's now got all these things she wants to talk about and you just keep moving the focus around so that you never really kill off a conversational thread.

That being said, don't cut her or the thread off prematurely, then you just come off as having ADD.

Which reminds me of this awesome joke:
"How many kids w/ ADD does it take to change a light bulb?"
the answer: "Let's go ride bikes." (Which you can also use to segue into a bounce or whatever you can come up w/. Gives off a great spontaneity vibe.)

This part is called the transition stage where you have to get from the opener to a general conversation. Best thing to do is use the fish hook theory. When she gives u answers to the opener use the facts in the sentences to move onto another topic. e.g

opener- which sex do you think plays on game conseles more?
Her - men
you- well my mate from london sez its not true cuz most girls there play it etc etc. U ever been on a nyt out to london?

i no its a shit example that i fort at the top of my head but its jus to help ya understand. Also you do need to talk a lil bullshit, but make sure its still interesting. The main part to this part of the structure are:

opener: opens the set
transition: to get general convo going
General convo: to lower her bitch shield and shows u are talking to her generally as a friend ( disqualification)
DHV: give demonstrations of higher value in the form of stories so it doesnt look like ur bragging
( then she will get interested)

Where do you find the "footage" on the who lies more opener?

Well son of a bitch. I can't remember where I saw it, but I remember watching a bunch of guys use that opener. Might have been that Vh1 show. Probably not the best example of the opener, but let me see if I can explain what I'm talking about.

Conversations are a lot like research papers. The difference is that the paper has a defined author and audience, where in a conversation the author and the audience are one in the same. But the same concepts of formatting apply. Let's say I'm writing a paper on laptop computers.

...One of the great advantages of the laptop computer is that it's extremely portable. The portable power supply and wireless network connectivity give the format a flexibility around the office that is unparalleled in traditional computing devices. Desktops are way better for gaming btw. But notebooks are far becoming the standard in an ever increasingly digital workplace...

Now that was something I just kinda whipped up on the spot. Notice how the second sentence expands on the first and continues the thought, but the third kinda comes out of left field and the reader gets stuck asking the question, "where did the topic of gaming come from?".

That's kind of how the "who lies more opener" can come off if you just use the bare bones opener. It can work, there is a logic to it, but it comes across as awkward. You want smooth.

So here's how you do it. You've gotta setup the conversation where you want it to go. Like a chess player thinking 3 moves ahead. You steer the conversation into topics you're knowledgeable/comfortable with. So what some people have done w/ the opener is before the set has a chance to respond to the second question you drop in a real dhv story to set it up. It's a technique.f

I don't like to think in phases, phases have clearly defined boundaries and different rule sets associated with them. I prefer to frame it as a flow. So instead of opener *break* transition *break* dhv *break* etc... It's opener/transition/dhv/etc. Move forward and backward w/ the standard model. Play w/ it, experiment, HAVE FUN. Figure out what works for you. If you try to script out the whole thing even just block it out, it's not going to be you, you're going to be uncomfortable, and she's going to pick up on it. It's a conversation, information goes both ways. use what she gives you to continue.

As far as what SPECIFICALLY to talk about, who cares. Go w/ whatever interests you. There's gotta be something you've wanted a female perspective on. Check the news, there's always something weird, bizarre, or controversial you can discuss. It doesn't really matter what it is, just make sure you're both engaged in the conversation and go from there.

There's so many variables when it comes to women, cultures languages, locations, etc. you kinda have to approach pick up like pirate. To quote The Pirates of the Caribbean "the code is more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules." Now go plunder some booty. ;)

If it's a set. I always say "so how do you know each other" if it's just 2 girls I then go into "do you use the same shampoo?"

After those I go into routines.

If it's just one girl, I'll probably playfully neg her on something superficial that she's wearing, or do the style bugs bunny cute teeth thing, or go into my amazing jewelry routine. Or maybe then do a qualifyer "You're really pretty, beauty is common, it just shows you got lucky in the gene pool, there are lots of beautiful women, but what else do you having going for you.. like what three things make you interesting, or would make me interested in you?"(i really like this when the set is 2 hb's)
