I felt like this needed to be posted in here as it seems to be my major sticking point.
I've searched quite a few times for threads and posts through google to find information on using Pick Up to make friends, but the results weren't very helpful.

I usually turn upto social events for a Snowsport society am apart of on my own, I'm the most loyal member and turn up first every week. I try to mingle the best I can with the people I've met in previous weeks, moving from one set to another.
But I never seem to make a lasting impression to the point that I never get n-closed by these people or get invited to hang out outside of the weekly socials.

I feel like I might need to be more alpha and initiate some sort of meet up.

But honestly don't know how to sort this issue, it's been bothering me for basically all my life

Find commonalities in music & food preferences.
Invite out to concerts and restaurants.

I was going to post something yesterday.
I slept on it and realised how much of a blind bastard I've been. How is making friends any different from trying to pick up a HB, thats when it hit me.

Almost elimate kino from the equation and if its a guy instead of sexualizing at somepoint in the conversation you point out HBs maybe even approach a set with the guy or bring the HBs over to the guy(s). If its a girl you want to friendzone throw in some disqualifiers.

The fundamental and basic parts of Pick Up, talk to someone and as you said OXZO find commonalities have them qualify and validate to you, have them invest in you and build up the friendship. Get to know them and if they don't have things in common with you then move onto the next person.
