hey guys, so here we go again about this girl that i have been gaming for a little while now. shes introverted so i had to move slowly, but anyways so i finally set up a time to hang out with her on wednesday, and now shes not answering texts or phone calls. i will not be stood up, i will cancel before i do so, but i want to do it in an assertive way. im pretty sure this is whats happening becuase shes sh and wouldnt tell me this outright. right now so many thoughts are running through my head like should i ask her friends if shes scared of me, if i should ask her "what are u doing, if u dont want to see me be straight up" or if i should just cancel it so that i can hold the power. i feel that i have done what i need to do for her to be attracted well, i havent come off as an asshole, i have been CF, and switched over to genuine now that we are in comfort phase. and i have been getting compliance and iois along the way. i cant let her stand me up like this, what should i do? |

yesterday, i didnt think anything of it but after an unanswered text and phonecall im suspicious. i know that i may be over reacting but its out of the ordinary for no responses. i may have come off as to adventurous but that sure didnt stop her from indicating interest! i am thinking about canceling it and saying that i am to tired from studying and want to sleep becuase i will be, or waitng for her to flake and then calling her out on it. |

well i dont think it would be the worst idea to cancel. if u really think she is going to stand up up that is. but if shes shown interest in you its obviously still there. maybe if u give her some time shell feel more comfortable and u can schedule something else. im not sure what to do if u let her flake on u. |

Actually, that's a really good idea. Call her one more time. If she doesn't answer, leave it as a message. Cancel on her. Tell her something else has come up, not that you are too tired from studying. If she DOES answer, cancel anyway, and listen to her voice for calibration. By her voice you can tell if she is bothered by you canceling. If she is, CALL HER on it. Put that fact right in front of her face. Let her know that you know. If you don't hear that in her voice, tell her you have to go and cut off the call. At that point, pull yourself away from her. If she IS bothered, and you want to go ahead and get with her, you can ALWAYS tell her you'll rearrange your schedule and make it work . . . SOMEHOW. And no, that's not showing that you'll just drop everything for her, but it does show that you have a lot going on. That's a DHV. |

thanks so much tripp, im glad i waited and didnt pull the trigger too soon, it turns out she was playing in an intramural basketball game...if i was AFC i would have pulled the trigger way earlier! lol thanks for the advice though i will keep in mind for the future |
