How can you make sure that she contacts you after you do the number exchange/facebook exchange?
My phone broke recently so I've been giving out my number/facebook since I hadn't thought about bringing a pen so girls can write their number down - which I realise is a mistake. I don't have trouble getting the number/kino etc, just with building enough attraction that they think about me enough to care the next day to add/contact me. I'm a solid 7.5 out of 10, and I get told i'm attractive by girls. No idea why I can't push past this.
Here's an example of a recent open:
At the bar in my union:
HB7.5 comes and stands at the bar waiting to get a drink, we both stop and look at each other and smile
Me: Hi
HB: Hi
Me: What's your name?
HB: Kat, you?
Me: Jake
, although how do I know you're not one of those girls that gives a fake name? haha (I can see in retrospect I had demonstrated lower value here, I don't say this as an opener was just a one off as I got caught off guard from such a random open, usually I plan where I'm going to lead the conversation).HB: Haha, no it's short for Katherine!
Me:: Of course it is!
Are you a 2nd year?HB: Yeah
ME: Would you believe me if I told you I've graduated? (I look younger than I am so it usually is a good opener to get them guessing how old I am)
HB: No, How old are you?
Me: Guess
HB: Ummmm 21
Me: 22! (Slightly Shocked face), most people just think I'm 12 haha but close (writing this down is helping so much OMG why do I make them think of me as a 12 year old lol) , what course are you doing?
HB: Journalism
Anyway, I'll skip past the next bit since we just talk for a bit - what do you do? blah blah blah, I say "Got to get back to my friends, See you later".
Later on, (I've been legitimately hanging with my friends at this point - mixed girls and guys, and opening other sets, I've got a single lipstick mark on my cheek from some of my girl friends as I was messing about making them kiss me on the cheeks for some reason (can't remember why), so I thought this would be good social proof, my friends are solid 6-7's so anyone else watching wouldn't have thought I was just getting proof from fat chicks or whatever.
Anyway, I re-open the HB later as we are about to leave to hit the town, I started talking to one of her friends who I had been introduced to and sat down next to her with back slightly turned away, then I pretending to notice her and said "Oh my god can you stop stalking me!
, (we both laugh) I'm just about to head out to town, are you out as well?" Her: "Yeah, where are you going?", Me: "X, give me your phone and I'll put my number in so you can let me know where you are" (SO AFC, what am I doing, just writing this down makes it so clear I need to do some things differently:)1. Take a pen out with me if my phone is broke
2. Stop using the how old do I look thing
3. Use better openers, not Lower my value immediately
4. Be more light and playful with the interaction rather than leading it into fluff talk like "what course are you doing?" (boring).
