| Post subject: | how to deal with people asking for help on hw? |
I'm currently a college student (2nd year) and I tend to be a pretty damn good student, and modesty asides, I'm a smart guy, and most people realize this. So as a result, I often have people (both guys and girls) who want to 'study together' or are asking me for help on homework and shit like that. I used to be the nice guy who always helped on hw and shit because I thought it would get people to like me, but then I realized that most people just used me. Now I pretty much only help my best friends on hw and the like because well, they're my best friends. But what's a good way to handle other people asking for help and shit? I've been going with lines like 'idk if you can afford my tutoring' etc, but i feel like it's coming off as tryhard. any suggestions? |

The post above here is Epic. Having said that, once there was a guy in this forum who wrote: "Girls can have things for free once they sit on your . . ." Don´t help them if they´re opportunists. Help only those people who have shown capable of loyalty. Help the worthy only, or you will elevate parasites above their natural stations. |

You need to create an emotional connection "trust" that way...when she is looking for excuse to not sleep with you, she will go ahead anyway because you have speed enough time to create that sense that she knows you. Just by telling her that it is ok, and not getting pissed at her, and telling her that you will tick around no matter what because you like her as a human being...she will in the mood. Being romantic is the bets way to defeat Last minute resistance! |

conquistador - i think you posted in the wrong thread. marville - thanks for your advice, i'm aware that that's how I should be, but I was wondering more how to handle them when they ask for help. I know not to help them, but i don't know what the best way to not help them is. |

No don't make up excuses, just tell them "no i'm not doing your homework". Simple. But hard emotionally if you've never done it. What's more important.. your own happiness or pleasing them? I hope you answer the first one! |
