There is this girl in college class that always starts to make small talk with me. It is always pertaining to school so I don't want to confuse her questions with SOI's but I do find her somewhat attractive and would like to find a way to ask for her number without coming off as showing interest just so that I don't come on too strong. What is the best way to get it without making her think I am interested in her? Maybe something pertaining to homework? I have been thinking of ways day after day but can't come up with something that would be cool enough or funny enough to say to her. Please help out an AFC. Ty in advance |

just do it guy, right now your being such a wuss. dont be a wuss, take charge, if she talks to you then shes prolly interested in you and shes using homework or questions or small talks as an excuse for your opportunity. do it go DIRECT, but practice on random girls first just to get comfy. And dont label yourself as an AFC, your ruining your mindset that way. just have fun with her, theres no need to be scared losing her cuz theres tons of girls around. |

Quite frankly, she has interest in you. It'll be good to be direct and show a little interest in her. A good way to get her number is just to say that you enjoyed having this conversation with her and say "we should continue this sometime, give me your phone number and I'll call you later" with a warm tone in your voice. |

I second all the "man up, stop being such a wussy AFC" stuff. However, here is some constructive advice for an avenue of approach. Wait until you have another conversation with her. Then tell a joke of some sort just to get her laughing. Right at the apex of that interaction be like "Hey, you're cool I wanna get your number." Then keep talking to her after you get it and act like that didn't even happen. You're not asking a question, you are stating what you want. A question mark on the end of that sentence will fuck it up. There's also some psychology behind that method as well. She's warmed up and primed by talking to you, then you make her laugh and she's now in a good mood and really comfortable and thinks your funny. Then you pay her a compliment, and essentially ask for her number in a very casual way so it's not high pressure. It is much easier for her to just give you her digits after you have made her laugh and complimented her, because it would almost be an insult to you if she refused at that point. |
