The sticking point i run into on a consistent basis is that i feel too awkward approaching on the dance floor. To put it in basic terms, i dont know how to approach on the dance floor. i have no idea how to approach on the floor at all, all the videos i have watched, and all they seem to be about is what to do after the approach, i dont know how to approach. anyone who can help it will be much appreciated. If you can't dance, it makes it a lot harder. Some puas say to avoid the dancefloor if that is the case. You just look too creepy standing there staring at girls dancing. |

I can't dance, but I remember from my AFC days when I'd go to the club and I'd just walk out there after a few beers and start trying to dance and feel the music. Girls would come up to me and start grinding on me or I'd go over to them. It was too damn loud to engage in conversation so it was all about dancing together and feeling on each other and what not. Then in between songs I'd get their name and try to talk some, but it never really went further than that. Again, I was too AFC to try to close them. |

If I were you, I'd stay away from the dance floor, especially if you can't dance because I can't either. In his ebook, "The Pick-up Artist's Field Guide", Decibel quotes The Sheriff, another PUA. The Sheriff comments on dancing: "The dance floor has DLV written all over it. 1) You are putting all the control in the girl's hands. 2) When girls dance among themselves they are there to jerk off their egos by luring in guys and burying them - this is how they DHV. 3) You are going in with no way of ejecting in style. 4) You are giving her the power to seriously DLV you in front of God and Country by spinning off with another guy. The bitch will do this if she wants the ego boost. 5) The dance floor is a high visibility area and prowling for ass in front of the entire bar screams low value. 6) The dance floor provides no good way to DHV and is mainly a distraction from gaming. 7) All the AMOGs hang out on the dance floor. She is flaunting her sexuality and you are feeding into it. Yes it's an opportunity to spin her around and have a little fun but it's much more about A3 than A1 or A2. If a girl asks me to dance, I sit down, pull her between my legs and say 'okay, I'm ready'" (Decibel, 20). What I would do is stay at the bar or hijack a set's table. But that's just me. If you think you can dance, then God bless you, son. |

Hey what i usually do on dancefloors is i approach her don't say anything yet and just give her my hand you then let her make a spin and after that you spin yourself. Most girls will like it and from there on its an easy conversation starter. In some cases if shes attracted to you maybe because of your looks or your dance you can spin her around and put her hand on your shoulder keep eye contact going from there on. Hope this helped!! |

Dude just TRY to dance. I learned dancing by watching other people. Tell you what: If you can't dance, FUCK IT DO IT ANYWAY. This demonstrates CONFIDENCE. People will actually like you for trying, man. Just go there and do your thing. |
