The effects of RACE on game - The proper way to discreetly screen for racial preferences I just want to begin saying that I am completely NEW to the game. But I have seen some very advanced techniques discussed on these boards pertaining to all aspects of social interaction and I'm curious to know what you guys think about this particular sensitive issue. First, a bit of background. I am a 23yr old afro-caribbean male who just recently moved to the U.S. (San Fransisco). Although I am NOT the stereotypical black male I am of darker complexion and have met situation where women who are otherwise friendly with colored guys will NOT date colored guys. I have also met situations were women are MORE perceptive to 'exotic' guys of our type (Caribbean accent, as well as other cultural traits that we may have). As I said before, I'm completely new to sarging as well as all the terminology involved, but how do you figure out a woman's dating/sexual preferences within MINUTES of meeting her, BEFORE asking for her number? Reason being that maybe you do not want to waste time with a woman who has already decided for some reason she isn't 'attracted' to black men? Is it even worth it to think about these issues or am I just complicating it further? Note that interracial sex/dating isn't a big issue for Caribbean/European/UK women but I think most U.S and especially Asian women still struggle with it? |

It's useless to attempt to figure out why exactly a girl is or isn't into you. Just assume that race doesn't matter. It's all about confidence and body language. If a girl likes you, then it will be noticeable in her body language. If she doesn't like you, then go on to the next girl. Don't over-think it. If a girl says she doesn't date a certain type of guys, then act as if it's a shit test and act accordingly. -Wolf |

@Wolfwoodd, that sounds good. The reason why I asked is that most of us new guys tend to over-analyze a situation especially when we're aware of specific potential (sometimes prevalent) road-blocks such as these. But you're correct, it's counter-productive to dwell on it. |

I think race def plays a factor. It can work in your favor, or against your favor. By all means, approach as if it doesn't matter or as if it plays in your favor. I'm Bangladeshi, but I'm very racially ambiguous. Lots of people think I'm Latino or Eastern or Central European. Sometimes, I get the Asian and other mix. Also, having a very Muslim name, I feel that some girls are turned off due their social conditioning based on what faith they are. Other than that, I only have an issue online where my race is listed. There was this one bitch I messaged on Blendr who couldn't tell what I was, and stopped talking to me because she "only like SPanish guys". Yet... ppl think I'm Spanish all the time. |
