PUA Forum :: Girls I Already Know

I used to keep an array of attractive girls around for advice when dealing with women. My knowledge has since grown and I really no longer need their advice to understand how to deal with girls in my life. However, I have lately been thinking about making one of my friends more than that.

Most of those friends have liked me at one time or another, and I'm thinking about dating one of them who has liked me for a while now. I've basically put her in the friend zone, every now and then letting her out for a little and then placing her there again to maintain attraction. However, I feel weird about using PUA tactics on a girl I knew before I was well versed in the subject and actively practicing it. I knew of the community when I first met her, but I wasn't in nearly as deep.

So essentially where in the m3 Model would you start with a girl who you already know very well and who has been effectively qualifying herself for months?

Now, Hobbit. If she's been qualifying to you for months, and you're already building attraction, you simple keep building attraction, more intensely. The comfort is already there, so the attraction and kino, if you haven't built any kino, needs to be put in there, in a big way. There's absolutely no reason you should feel ashamed or whatever of using the M3 model or of using any PU techniques, principles, what have you, on someone just because you knew them before you got into PU. The only reason for feeling "slimy" like that is if you're trying to manipulate them. If that's not the objective, there's nothing to worry about. Go for it man.

Interesting... I never thought of applying the M3 model to people I already know. In my humble opinion, M3 is a model of a sarge, and the steps have to be executed one after the other. Jumping around the phases (A1->C1->A2, whatever) makes little to no sense in my mind. To be fair dude - go out, sarge a bunch of sets, see what gets good reactions and then you'll get a feeling of where you are with that girl, and probably a good intuition on what to do. If she's really something, I'd get a bit of practice. If your sarges go well, you'll feel like you have more options, which is a much better frame to be coming from. Plus you might actually bump into someone you like. Tripp: this reminds me of Thugnificent's thread on the typical PUA forum post

ace, I hear you on that note . . . you should check out 'his' other stuff . . . And, yes, you can pick and choose different stages of the M3 model to use when needed. It still works that way.
