Post subject:  my sticking point is just starting

I've been taking step to step approaches to building my own lifestyle. I've built my life, i have a full time job with a security company, im a reserve soldier in the army reserves, i'm in the gym, and lets just say that life, when its good... its great. but, then there are the other times, times like this past weekend, where i get strung around from some girl i thought wanted me, just to blow me off consecutively from our date that i arranged, i try to muster the strength to initiate the style life 30 day challenge but dont seem to be able to muster up the energy to do it on my own, my social life seems closed off from me, so on so forth... i just dont know what step to take next but im not fullfilled in my life currently... does anyone have any idea's on how to build a better life? how have any awesome motivational things to help pull me from this stitch im stuck in? i would greatly appreciate it. thanks. :]

Hey

The thing you need, as you said is motivation. There are manny ways of gettig the motivation but the botomn line is that the aswer you are seeking is within yourself. You need to frame your mind to :
You only live once
There is no such thing as faliure
If you could do annything without "faliure", what would you do? now do it.
Do what you allways do, get what you allways get.
This is your reality and treat it as such.

another thing that helps is asking yourself "If I die in 4 hours, what whould i do".

Thanks, i guess that is what it really comes down to, isnt it.

i've been reading anothony robbins quite a bit lately, and his words seem to really push for the goal im trying to attain.

to those that read this post, even if you post nothing on here, I do want to say that you should check out anthony Robbins, He's got brilliant words to help overcome approach anxiety, and to bring a sense of self peace if you follow him

Where do you start? Get your approaches down first. Do a certain amount of approaches per day. Do them everyday, and always stick to that minimum number. I got the idea from reading Sinn's blog when I wanted to kill my approach anxiety. It has to do with the same principle as quitting smoking. Smokers who smoked a certain amount a day and gradually decreased were better off than those who quit cold turkey. Along those same lines, if you approach a minimum amount of times a day every day and gradually increase them you're brain will kill the AA much quicker than you doing 20 approaches a couple times a week. Worked for me in about a month, and I kind of feel like a pimp now when I'm confident I can get numbers on any trip to the grocery store with no AA.
