i no this is probably an easy answer for most but id really like to master it, yes, i can open fine, make idol chit chat then express dhvs but wat im looking for is a structure of the im-between. 1. i have there opinions from the opener 2. ?????????????????? idol chit chat i use 3. dhving i can fill this blank in, but im wondering if there is more to it. i cant think of getting there opinions then starting a completely different topic, there has to be some kind of link, connector to complete this kink in the chain, any ideas? |

I usually try to go straight from their opinions to a DHV story about the topic that the opener was about. |

yes, its called the transitioning phase and i recommend savoys e-book "magic bullets", they noticed that that was missing in the old mysterymethod. (good observation by you btw) personally i like to look like the DHV just popped in my mind (sometimes it does) and is important, as far as I understand this is just vs "why are you telling us this" |

Honestly, it's like this. When you are talking to someone you know, you can jump topics all over the place and no one really thinks anything of it, because you know each other and are comfortable with each other. Well, that's the same thing that needs to be generated in a set you open to. They are usually not gonna care if you cut one topic and jump to another, that is, if they like you they won't care. It makes them feel like they've always known you, which is a good thing. So, for the transition, just snip one thread and start another. |
