OK so I am an illusionist and a mentalist (i dont like the term magician as much cuz it sounds stage showy) and I am pretty good with card tricks and other mind reading/telekinesis routines and I am working on a way to use it in Pick up. Now im not talking the cheesy crapppy coin in ear things but like serious mindreading to pick your selected card or moving objects in someone hand etc. I am thinking that it would be very useful in making kino extremely easy. First of all spectators (the hb) are usually very compliant when you are showing them something because you dont have any possibly unwanted intentions besides getting your demo across. You can ask for their hands, move people around by grabbing their waist, touch their arms, and even get them to take out their phone and give it to you or have them hold yours which makes getting their number pretty easy since its already out there. You can also flirt while doing basic expected things like keeping eye contact and talking and joking around slightly with some witty comments or stories and it wouldnt seem to sudden and surprising. Now I know and have created some 'tricks' for lack of a better word, that involve holding someones hand to position it or touching their arm, having them touch your hand or arm, and keeping eye contact for several seconds as part of the trick which is good for making someone comfortable and making it seem like you are the only two people there. But I know for a fact that incorporating kino would be relatiely easy for an experienced illusionist. The two main things I like about this are: 1. Kino is easy because it is common when being shown a trick. And she doesnt have to be concious about other people thinking she is being to flirty because its basedo n non flirty actions that you just prolong or move slower and such. 2. It builds rapport beause you are htem to trust you naturally by having them only get excitement from doing what you say which makes them comfortable. AND getitng 3. You are the one giving commands the whole time telling her where to stand what to do touching her hands freely which puts you in a high status automatically. |

oh and i forgot to mention it almost ALWAYS gets either a "OMG! smile plus giggles" or "simle pluss gigles How did you do that" You either get a + uz you did something cool or a plus cuz you did somethgin cool and they initiated conversation |
