| Post subject: | Need some help with a DHV story |
I've always been told that it's better to make up your own DHV story, but i'm having a real hard time. I'm in the military and have been to Iraq and Afghanistan so i already have higher value, never really had any big problems with my game, but when ever I mention that stuff it just sounds like I'm bragging. How can I put those experiences in a story and not make it sound like I'm bragging??? |

try not to brag, but make it more mysterious. mention it more like: "i have seen stuff you that not every men here has seen/experienced" or "i've been in places you wouldnt really expect from me maybe" or "if you would know me for a longer time, you would know that i have been to the most extreme places/circumstances/experiences/whatever.. " make sure you mention the tip of the iceberg, (tease her)and let her ask for more.. when she asks you "stuff like what?" or "tell me more" then you tell her your story and make it not sound as if yuu are bragging, but more like as if yuu got something interesting to tell.. thats what i think goodluck braggin! jk jk ;D Hotaru |

Just say that you've been out there. The chick will ask what it's like on her own accord. You can brag all you like when she has essentially invited you to do so. You can break right into whatever awesome stories you have, |

I know what you mean. I'm a parachuting instructor and that's a pretty good DHV as well but when I approach a set I never say that until I've been asked - and they always ask. When I'm asked I don't show any excitement in my voice or my body language. There are times that I will use a ridiculous answer like "Professional toilet polisher", laugh about it and then reveal my true job. |

I dont know if you already tell these things in your story, but you could add the brotherhood in the group, like "You know, out there we feel like brothers, even though we just got to know each other" and then you can tell her how you guys help each other during a fight/ shared your food, even though you didnt have enough for yourself so you can convey that you are protectiv, and she can rely on you. Just sayin |
