Why bother when the computer can do it for you?Just start off with something you're trying to say. 1. Then use one of the free translation services to translate it into another language. 2. Translate it back into English. 3. Repeat as necessarily until you have something humorous. 4. Use, "Have you ever tried to use one of those translation services?" as an opener with a story about using them for whatever reason. Riff on how other cultures have funny oddities and grammar issues when trying to speak in English. 5. Get her (and her friends) to attempt a funny translation of her own in real time. Presto full routine based around a universal subject of trying to communicate and being misunderstood. |
