So there are some things in this story that I like, but other things I think could be seen as DLV, so I figured I'd ask for some opinions. Also, this story is 100% true, which I always feel is better than making stuff up, cuz you can get the right emotion into it
I'm just going to use initials for names, cuz I don't like posting peoples shit online, lol.
So me and my buddy T are hanging out with these two girls, we hit the movie theater, and afterward we run across the street to get something to eat, so we eat and are hanging out and when we start heading back across the street to get to the car there are these 5 or 6 guys walking down the street singing. They're the typical "thug" type dudes that chill around here, so at first we don't worry about it, but then one of the girls we're with decides to start screaming the song that they're singing, and I guess they thought we were talkin shit and they started walking over to us and yelling shit at us.
So at first I'm like, alright, well we can't let them come over here and start fuckin with these girls. So I'm ready to throw down, I used to do some competitive fighting before I fucked my knee up, so I figure I could take 2 of them, and my buddy T is a pretty damn good wrestler, so he could take 1 or 2, but that still leaves 1 or 2 that are just gunna be able to wail on us. So we're standing there waiting for them to get over to us, and we see T's older bro drive by in his van and he starts yellin out the window to us, we wave him over and he pulls up and gets out. I was psyched then cuz T's bro is known around town as being a real bad ass fighter, and he had J with him, who is kind of a bad ass, but he's also just a big ass intimidating dude.
So I guess the thug guys saw them pull up and got scared off, and we start talking to T's bro and J about what was goin on and they just laugh, T's bro says they look like bitches and J walks back to the van and pulls out a big set of brass knucks and says he would have loved for them to come over here. So then they head out, we head back to the car and head back to T's place with the girls to chill for the rest of the night.
So, pros of this story: Pre-selection-We're chillin with other girls
Protection-We were willing to fight to protect these girls, and that I mention I used to fight competitively (I thought at first this could be seen as bragging, but the fact that I mention I got injured fighting seems to disqualify it as bragging a little).
The only thing is, idk if T's bro showing up would be DHV for me, because I'm friends with someone that bad ass, or DLV because it seems like I need him to come save my ass, same with the whole J pulling out the brass knuckles, it just seems a little much and I'm thinking about leaving that part out if I tell the story.
So, opinions?
