Post subject:  Natural gamer looking to integrate routines fluidly

I've been in the community for about 4 years now, off and on. I started out trying to run Mystery Method and use the old cliche openers and stuff, which was a disaster. I've even tried to go back and learn that stuff over the years a couple of different times but it never worked. It just made me more self conscious, awkward, and try-hard.

Over the last year, I've gone to a fairly natural style based off what I read from 60. I go social to seductive to sexual with a lot of emphasis on nonverbals. I've gotten laid from it a few times, but it's very inconsistent and kind of half-assed. Basically, I go out to bars by myself looking as good as I can (I'm overweight and not all that good looking), open girls with low energy observational openers, and then wait for one of them to appreciate the attention and do most of the work in the midgame.

Yes, it gets me laid sometimes, but this isn't getting me the younger, hotter girls I really want. I'm 31 now, but I prefer girls from 18-25ish. From reading Sinn's blog, I've come to believe that I really could use a good routine stack, afterall. However, I don't know where to start on developing one and integrating it into what I already do. Most of the stuff I read on routines comes from Mystery Method, but MM didn't do much for me besides make me more socially awkward, incongruent, and just plain weird. I turned off a lot more girls than I attracted with it, in fact.

So, for you guys who use routines, what are some good tips/strategies for me to use in developing my own stuff that fits me? What types of things should I work on first and what are the ideas and concepts to keep in mind to make it work? I still have some AA, but my nonverbals are all fairly solid and I understand venue dynamics, yet I feel like I'm not coming off as very interesting or memorable once the conversation starts.

Any and all advice is welcome!
