| Post subject: | Pretty awesome DHV routine |
I haven't field tested this routine for a PU but it is a story I told about 9 times today and got positive reactions from many different groups. This actual happened so it's easy for me to use but it should work well for everyone. Somewhere led into I love kids type of convo "I was taking my niece, she's five btw, to (a museum with model rockets, big ass rockets, some type of fucking rockets that is plausible) that she goes to with her dad a lot. So we were looking at all the rockets and she points to one and says the cutest, cleverest thing I have ever heard. Uncle (your name), that's the Mercury Redstone! (body language of excitement) It's neither red nor made of stone (confusion), but that's what they call it (shrug, acceptance). Laughs for all Another good one from her, same setup Talking about a breakup My five year old niece says to me "uncle (you), why did you and (blank) break up?" And I answer that I am not really sure and that it is okay for people to break up. She then tries to comfort me (very serious)"Maybe she just needed sometime to her self...(a little kino pat on the leg and pause) forever. (acceptance) I was shocked. And I am still laughing about it while I am writing it. When I tell these stories I really try to convey the childlike innocence of the over emphasized emotions followed by total acceptance. It's solid material and I am going to try it out this weekend for PU. |
