Building Social Proof (Credit AFC Adam) You build social proof by having people see you talk to alot of other people, you go round having really short conversations all around the venue Standing in the cue of the venue is your first oppertunity to start talking to people 2/3 seconds here "hey whats up" 5 seconds there "god this bars packed" maybe 30 seconds to a minute talking to this group "hey, where you guys from..." go up to someone and ask "hey, excuse me, is there another bar upstairs...hey thanks have a good night" come back round "hey, you guys again, "so how do you know each other..." and so on By now you have talked to alot of people, keep doing this all night when the oppertunity presents itself, when you run into people you've already met, you can just ask about their night. "hey, whats up, hows it going... excellent" You should have the idea, you are working the entire club. This is a clip from the 21 convention, def check the site out its great, the clip is Adam explaining how and what he says to build comfort before he begins the seduction process, its the 2nd routine on my list, I add in "where you from" for logistical reasons but its basicly all the same http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnNmqCJEEgA ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Introductions Routine (Your friend is talking to someone) "whos your friend (or from scratch) Hey, hows it going, (hold out your hand) whats your name... Personally, I really hate the question "how do you know each other." When asked of other people, it can often be a non-starter. When asked of me and somebody I know, half of the time I'd rather not say. YMMV. Generally I find it to be a rude question. That's not to say that talking about how people know each other is bad. It can be a great conversation to build up, as oftentimes there are funny, unique, or engaging anecdotes that can be used later. Generally I try to avoid too many direct questions. When you first meet a woman it shouldn't feel like an interview. "How do you know each other? Where are you from? What do you do?" It's bland and sounds scripted. Also, if I'm just trying to take her home, I honestly don't care about any of those things. Pretending like you care will likely show. There are better ways to get at this information. Take basic questions like "Are you from this area?" or "Do you go to school/work in Brooklyn?" and vamp them up to fit the situation. Keep it open ended, allows for greater elaboration and almost like you're asking two (or more) things at once. It gets her talking to feel like she's answered you, chances are she likes to talk about herself and it allows you to listen, watch and respond to body language, make eye contact, and show whatever level of interest is appropriate. It also allows you to get more information out of her with fewer questions, which means it's easier to keep the conversation going. |

AFC Adam is the man... The thing I like about this is when you start bouncing off people in the queues outside, you go into the clubs with an air of confidence and familiarity, this is all natural too and it doesn't seem canned, you're just the sociable guy who like to talk to people, even AMOG's can't see you coming and there's always a certain level of rapport when you see the target's group inside. Really want to go to the 21 convention |
