In one of the PUA video's on youtube, I learnt that eye contact dates back to 40.000 years ago when we communicated very basic. It means agression or attraction. Being a RAFC, hence uncertain, I get the feeling that it can also mean a search for help or confirmation. Reason I think it, is because a girl at work I'm working on. We have a lot of eye contact, very long and very intense, also in groups across a distance. It often happens though when she seems to need help or confirmation on her actions.

Any experience with that?

Read gunwitch method. He explains bedroom eyes. From my experience and what I have learnt is to look them i'n the eyes when your talking to them but when there talking avoid eye contact more. Makes you look higher value

I agree with theLiar...breaking eye contact and looking around the room will DHV for sure.

Ok I've tried that and it seems to work. Still I wondered if eye contact can mean something else than an IOI. So I studied it a bit and the most important reference I found is on wikipedia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_contact

It builds a strong personal bond and flirting is explicitly mentioned. So it might be true: eye contact is an IOI.
